That was very enjoyable, besides being instructive. Very nice build.
    Also very professional narration.
And your choice of music? Spot on.
I’m a musician ( admittedly amateur) and I quake at some of the noise that some presenters choose to use on their channels, channels where I invariably never return.
And yes. I subscribed to yours. You checked all the boxes!

Great video for all those beginners with thousands of dollars in floor standing equipment.

Thoroughly enjoyed this build. Great job mate. One big benefit of vises mounted this way, is the elevation. I have back issues so the higher my workpiece is, the better!

Nice work Ed 👏! I know a lot of people make their vise into the table but I think your idea is better in my opinion. Your design gives you the freedom to move it anywhere you need it. Take care and GOD BLESS 🙏!

This is the first time watching one of your videos. Very impressed. I like the quite approch. I learned what I needed to know without hearing all the shop noise. I already know what that sounds like. Great job . Subscribed

That's nice, Ed. I've seen these before but not with the table. That's a great idea.

Very nice design! Quite inspirational to watch. I bought the same exact kit almost three years ago but I haven’t been able to use it yet. Hopefully I will soon.

Hello Mr Ed Parker. I think this is really neat! I’ve often needed a “third hand” when I was tinkering around with some woodworking stuff…most of the time I’d ask my son or daughter to help hold the piece in place…. I think I’d like to give this vice you made a try. Thank you!
Also, I noticed that you put a Bible verse in your description. Appreciate that very much.
You also, “have a blessed day.”

Great video, you really showed all the stages, I loved the editing. And you showed your minor mistake, which we all do, I really liked you using the headboard too, it actually makes the piece look really unique. Ive watched alot of moxon videos, this is one of the best. You got a sub, good luck with the channel

Nice job Ed! I bought the same kit from Taylor Toolworks last year. I may have to re-do mine after seeing yours. I didn't build a table into my design, just the jaws. It works great but I can see where the table would make it nicer. God Bless! :)

Thank you! I also have seen both, but decided to build the table on it after watching Jonathan Katz Moses make some incredible joinery with his. Have a blessed day! - Ed

Nice work, I have decided to make mine a table top addition as well because it raises the joinery work higher to prevent back fatigue. I was also going to try to make my handles. I would like to know the background music in your video. Again, great video presentation.

Hello! Great video and a wonderful end product. I am getting ready to build a moxon vice in a few days. I have the exact same hardware you were able to get. I only have some oak lying around and was wondering what wood you used and if you think oak would make for a respectable vice. Thanks very much. Have a blessed day!

Thank you! I used some Maple boards that I already had. Any hardwood will work including the Oak that you mentioned. I love this moxon vise. I really saves back pain by moving the working area up so you don't have to hunch over. - Ed

@@WolfRidgeWoodworking Thanks very much Ed. I can't wait to build mine. My back is torturing me so this should be very nice indeed. Best to you.

IF YOUR AN ACTUAL BEGGINER....LUCKILY THERE ARE PLENTY OF "ACTUAL BEGINNER TUTORIALS FOR A MOXON VICE"'.....because this should be completely disregarded.....save yourself the time and look at another.
While I appreciate vids like this and the effort but....THE TITLE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE.....This isnt even remotely a BEGINNERS GUIDE.
Let me ask a question....WHAT ULTIMATE BEGINNER HAVE YOU KNOWN WHO HAS A TABLE SAW WITH JIGS, BAND SAW, DRILL PRESS, ROTATING SANDER????
HEY AND LETS NOT FORGOT THOSE BUNCH OF PARALLEL CLAMPS AND PLANER SOMEONE LEFT IN THE BACK OF THEIR CLOSET....AS....A....BEGINNER. Lets just have them rummage them out......
    THIS....IS....THEY....FURTHEST....THING.....POSSIBLE.....FROM.....A.....BEGINNERS.....GUIDE.
Either your TROLLING or worse....HAVE COMPLETELY LOST REALITY AS TO WHAT A BEGINNER IS IN WOODWORKING.
    WHAT...A....JOKE.

Why are you calling the wood “material”? It’s wood but like a lot of RUclips carpenters you don’t state what type of wood it is, i.e. poplar, red oak, etc, etc. is there an unwritten rule that states you have to be coy when it comes to wood types.
