Great to see this song shared to the world! I've actually worked production/manufacturing for Kurtis Scott in New York City (2002-2010), which was something of a divine intervention. Apparently, my late dad (guitarist/musician) passed a year before I met Kurtis, whom occasionally played together in mid-60's to 70's. My late beloved mom showed me dad's little black book of contacts/numbers, and there among the many contacts was Kurtis Scott's name. Around 2011 his health was declining, but, still he shared enough experiences of his life with me. Also, he expressed in past interviews "Black Child" was inspired after being a victim of police brutality. Thanks for the upload!!!
