Molly is a rare talent who can deliver the story of a song. So enjoy listening to her. As an aside, whoever did her makeup and styling should be commended. She was gorgeous at each appearance. It was do refreshing to see a young woman not being pushed into assuming the crass caricature of pop star. Stay elegant and true to your craft, Molly.
Uhh.. they did? They just made her a tiny Florence lookalike, made her look older with makeup, all to drive a story saying she's now a woman thanks to the show.

she is another example of how good coaching can bring out the best in people with talent, she was not made to do theatrical stuff
but just stuff that would highlight her talent and that is all that counts.
Yes and he knew she went through something rough and had emotions and he latched onto that sad emotional type music so she can show her feelings best through each song. She is very good with showing emotions in music and he shifted things that was close to her life and had her push that into song and show the beauty of it all as a whole. Making her voice that more beautiful with every lyric. Amazing.
What a beautiful girl. Both on the inside and the outside. So humble. So unpretentious. And that voice - the more confident she got, the more beautiful she sounded. She truly deserved to win 2019. Congratulations Molly! May you have a very long and fruitful career. God Bless!

she improved soooo much over the show. her first audition was pretty good but her last few auditions were really great
She has that sad face and a voice where we can just be lost in the emotion. Reminds me a bit of Eva Cassidy. I hope she does good in the industry. Her charisma may speak to some but maybe not for all. But heck, only 18. She's just getting started. Congratulations, Molly.

There's a ton of young women out there w beautiful voices, but the feature of Molly's performance that sets her apart for me is the maturity of her presentation, especially the use of her left hand and eyes for emphasis. I can easily see her on the boards in the West End in short order. Old soul, indeed.

I am honestly speechless! By far one of the best vocalist I've ever heard. She has a unique tone, am in love with her voice!
A pure soul with a voice that melts pain away. A beautiful young woman with the ability to talk directly to our hearts and souls.
The competition around 7 minutes - so beautiful. The bite with Molly on notes is incredible. She grabs the first note of anything she sings perfectly. That's her. I recognize it, truly. But I loved both of the singers... facts be told, I love anyone that sings for any reason at all.
When she sings, "Don't wanna give my heart away, to another stranger" it gave me chills! She's amazing and does not look like she's only 18. Wow just WOW 💜
Her voice is so refreshing to hear..she can shoot up high notes with ease and good to hear...you will just love to listen every minute she sings. She has lovely persona.

Molly is 1 of d best young singers I have ever heard. Her ability to understand the song, putting emotions in it and her voice quality and control, and power. Awesome talent.

There is something about her which appears only very rarely in mankind history. It is somehow divine and you cant stop listening and you have to like it. Of course there was a small thingy here and there, but that doesnt matter at all. I think what we are witnessing here can be defined as genious.

I actually thought Molly sang better than Olly in the duet.
Olly had a couple good moments, but Molly had a more commanding voice for that song.
I really liked the harmony between Molly and Connie (first girl she knocked out). Molly even tried to create chemistry with that her, but the Connie didn't reciprocate.

1. what. a. voice!! the way she sings is incredible, it touches the root of my soul, she really delivers the meaning of songs and i simply love it!!
2. what a lovely personality she has: so humble, sweet and calm, you don't meet people like her that often nowadays.
3. the way she dresses is sooo cute, i'm in love with her blouses, they are sooo beautiful and suit her perfectly.

Her delivery of the lyrics makes it so passionate and she really feels and tells the story. AMAZING. As soon as Jennifer told her she wanted to throw her shoe....she made it for sure. We watched her evolve into something incredible.

I have a bit of a hard time with high notes and voices, but I can absolutely appreciate her clear voice and everything she can do with it. Everything everyone have said about her ability to convey emotions of the songs are true. It's amazing!

Besides from her singing, and the fact she went with her gut on choosing a coach. It was a delight to see the other coaches light up every time she performed. This was truly the right choice for the Voice, in a field that had many great performers, she manged to stand out.

Heidi Cross that’s Sia’s style of singing- that’s what makes her voice so distinct and special. But I don’t think they’re very similar otherwise; their voices are quite different but idk why you feel the need to bash another singer who’s had a very successful career.
Her semi final song gave me goosebumps and put a smile on my face with the intense confidence she showed.
Heartbreak makes you find yourself. Beautiful.

Coz they're used to most songs sounding 'american'? Plus the american accent rolls off the tongue easier than any other english - wise...
Because to sing properly, when sustaining vowels you have to sing with dipthongs that do not change color, accents in English are seldom identifiable.
and it's not only people with an English accent, every accent is like this

I never listened to Harry Styles or his group until one day I heard "Sign of the times" on the radio without knowing the singer was him. It was refreshing and at the same time like a time travel experience.
She is phenomenal. Very rare individual. Strength and power and love to her. Purely powerful. She is amazing, she is 100% about the music and so incredibly present* purely to the song, that is rare. She is the voice.

She sounds so timid & frightened; then she gets on stage & blows everyone away😀 When I hear her voice I'm taken back to the eighties & one of the singers I adored - Olivia Newton John.
I think shes still better then she realizes, just such an amazing voice, seriously impressed with her. I hope whatever she does in music, they treat her right and gets her the right songs, and hope they do not try and turn her into another cookie cutter pop star.

Molly Hocking is not Human. She's extraordinary being. Her emotions is so strong that by just watching her here in youtubue I can throughly feel her aura and have actual goosebumps. What more if watching her live on stage? Wow.
She truly is a new inspiration for me. Just the growth she showed from just learning to love her own voice, and believe in herself. I could never have an angelic voice like hers, but I hope that one day I can.
