I discovered guitarist in Udio. If you put in the lyrics [Guitar solo: Slash] or [Guitar solo: Malmsteen] or [Guitar solo: John Norum] or whatever,the guitar solo will be perfectly in the style of those guitarist. I must try with the voice..
I saw this from others but is it legal? Udio tells us not to use names of artists. I had tried all kinds of metal guitarplayer in the prompt, this is forbidden but later I remove them. No you can't remove it easy I have to change a small part at the end and then it's reased. Sometimes even that doesn't work.
@zosten obviously on the end you edit the lyrics and cut off the name. Should not be problem with music, because also real guitarist can be inspired by other ones or from a style. It's not that Udio make.exact copy of some solo, but probably know what kind of scales he use the most and type of music. Udio of course was trained with a lot of music... but let's enjoy until last. Personally I put the music of Udio on my channel just for fun, I will never distribute to spotify or things like that.
Last night Udio Blew my Mind. I uploaded an old demo that was digitized from a very old cassette. I remixed the track with the with no difference in the track. I noticed around the 3rd or 4th time the original track was remixed, the generations completely restored the audio, if not made it better. The Original Vocal also came out surprisingly well.
Udio has the best vocal and instrumental quality at the moment. Additionally, their website offers the best tools and a high level of control for producing your own music. However, personally, I much prefer the melodies and musical structure of Suno. The compositions are much more captivating and creative. Despite its limitations, Suno has more feeling and emotion in its generated music. I've created songs with it that are phenomenal-the melodic level of SunoAI is truly impressive, no exaggeration.
I've been updating some songs I recorded in 1997 (Pop rock), to Progressive Djent, using udioai and had incredible results on guitar riffs, guitar solos and vocals lines, using my own lyrics..... I tried to do the same with Suno, but wasn't as diverse as what I got with udioai. I guess all depends on what style of music you're up to. Now I need to find with your tips a gavin Harrison on drums; Rick Wackemann on keyboards; Russell Allen on vocals and I can die happy. 🙄😂 I just found out these tools a few days ago, so I'll keep trying. Thanks for your valuable information.

Suno is fast and makes the whole song, while UDIO takes time, but the quality is way better I think; the best thing would be the easyness of Suno and the quality of Udio

Digg deeper my friend, when u Type Make me a Song about love then the ai will just scratch on top of the ice. Give it more Details and Emotion and metaphors the ai should use. Go as Deep es u can and u get better results Trust me. Ai is lazy when u are. 😅

Try Putting the meta tags in the Style of Music Section in Suno. And then in the Lyrics section use a Legend to guide the beats. It works perfectly for me.

What do you mean by modulation in the musical snippets at 7:25? I thought modulation meant key change, or certain types of pitch change effect, like vibrato or flanging. The videos I'm using in my songs are stock footage from other platforms and not from Suno or Udio. The only video capabilities these AI song generators have for now is to download a video with lyrics and a static background image.
Are there any tips for not using lyrics? i'm trying to get some scifi/tactical space battle music you know some synth some orc style i've gotten some decent sounding ones with word salad.. lol
Not sure which AI song generator you're using but both Suno and Udio have the ability to toggle to instrumentals only. This leaves out any AI generated lyrics.

Something you'd find for xcom rip off games, or cheap scifi soundtracks lol I was hoping to improve them slightly they're decent fodder while i'm playing a game though.

You're welcome! There isn't a specific feature to control chord progression just yet but you could experiment with using a meta tag - for example [blues chord progression]. Genre mixing can be specified in Style of Music field - for example "country, hip hop"

I like your video & tips, but your comparison of Suno vs Udio when using the emotional metatags was inconclusive. You claimed that Udio performed better when they both did the same things.(neither of them responded to your emotion tags). Part of the problem is you only showed 2 results of each platform. With AI music generators its hit and miss with metatags. Sometimes you have to try several times to get them to do what theyre being told to do and often something thats worked in the past will take several attempts to repriduce. In my (humble) experience I've noticed it usually helps if you add the desired emotional prompts into the style prompt box. I also recommend using (back in the lyrixs box) the metag "[dramatic]" paired with a volume metatag. For example: [Verse 1] [Dramatic] [Softly] Thx for the video though. I'm excited to try out your modulation metatags. I'm still shaking my head at the fact that the ai music industry can't provide an actual list of what metatags & style prompts go into their programming/software so that we don't have to do so much guess work & trial & error.

I don't understand your Suno vs Udio comparisons. It's an n=1 each time; but given the variability of each platform between their generations, it doesn't seem fair. And I'm not seeing with/without the "secret" tags each time. While a full exploration might be an hours-long video, you could at least do n=10 testing on your own and summarize your findings.
Suno does great with Lyrics and Music Arrangement but Vocal Bit Rate is too low. Also Suno does a Poor job at anything Urban with Urban Vocals.. Most Vocals sound like a white Guy.

I have prog rock, metal / symphonic / goth / doom / speed / thrash metal, electronic/ebm/dance music, a whole 30 track album of robot gangsta rap (Cyberpunk theme), and a whole album of filthy comedy songs (some great ones too! To answer your questions. Yes, you can upload a piano track and have Udio create a song from it. You can tell Udio what cords you would like in the song, but it may not get it right the first time around. You might have to generate a few versions until you can get the song to your liking.

btw. you can at a verse or chorus or bridge hang a "(x2)" on and it sings it 2 times or "sky (sky x3) then it comes 1 time +the 3 :D

Don't forget "Neon", "Madness", and many other recycled AI lyrics. It can be a crap-shoot if you don't write your own lyrics.
