Blokarts Sailing At Ivanpah.......the day before! 4/5/20

Dean, Gary, Patty and I were very lucky to squeeze in a good sailing day on 4/5/20, (the day before NABSA was scheduled to start our annual racing event) because rain is in the forecast for part of this up coming week.
We had fun racing around a fairly short speed course (close reach, broad reach) on the west side. Patty was the star of the day. She started out in a 3M sail and switched to a 2M when the wind picked up to around 20 mph. When Patty switched to a 2M sail, she really got fast . Our 4M sails were no match against her 2. So I quickly changed to a 3m sail, hoping things would start going my way............nope..........just little better!
She continued to lead the way around the course for the rest of the day.
