I remember seeing the whales in Maui and it made me cry, lol. Such beauties! I'm intending to move to HI in about 2 years+ and your videos always help me feel like I'm home. I live a very low-key life here in CA, and the one thing I look forward to every time I visit HI (besides the food) is snorkeling 🤿
We come twice a year for a total of 4 months! 1 month on Maui in the Fall and 1 month on The Big Island in our condo leaving Just before Christmas and then returning for 4 weeks on Maui staying oceanfront on Kaanapali Beach for Whale season and then 1 month at our Waikoloa Condo leaving mid April! So Blessed to spend so much time in Hawaii! Always like coming come! Just had our 35th trip since 2004! Love your insights! Thanks for posting your island adventures! Please include Akaka Falls for the Big Island as a MUST SEE!
Wow you are so blessed to be able to be there that often 😍. So insanely jealous of you ! 🙏🏻 ( Dutch girl here who sees Hawaii as her ‘home ‘ since the first time I was there and has been there 8 times now( sooo expensive from the Netherlands 😢) Enjoy that beautiful amazing part of the world!
My Husband and I have been to the Big Island in 2012 to see the Lave flow. It stopped right after we got there. We are going back in February. Can't wait to see how the Big Island is now. I know the natural hot tub that we went to is now covered in lava. So is the green lake. We love Hawaii. Even though we live in Florida (born and raised) . We love going from one paradise to another!
We were up there in late March but 4x4 was required due to the snow so only went to the visitor center. It was fun being in Hilo and seeing Mauna Kea covered in snow
Hi Erica and Family in 2024 my Wife and I are Celebrating 30 years of Marriage 1 st time ever to Hawaii with all the islands to choose from what would you say about staying at one of them for our first time love that I found you guys so much information and would love your thoughts thank you God Bless
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide I know you are jesting, but I understand that sometimes the need to document can interfere with the spontaneity of being with family. You guys seem to do well with the balance! We are heading over to our land on the big island for September from Costa Rica. I can’t wait. mostly we are camping out, but I will try to implement some of your day trips as we get to know our soon to be new home. Mahalo you two!
Thanks for watching our day out! Check out our Big Island itinerary with our Quick Hits section here: thehawaiivacationguide.com/BigIsland
I hope you all are safe! Prayers for Maui and all being affected by the wildfires.

We are going in October this year is it too early to see whales?
I’m afraid so. Sometimes they start tours in November on Maui, it depends on the migration that year.
Hawaii is expensive, what's your day job?
this is their day job!
It’s a tough day job
