Let me tell you that today, 15th day of the 5th month of the 2022, a Filipino man used your comment to validate this guide he posted 7 years ago. Thanks to both of you
Best trick I know is to go get the free extra characters asap. You cannot succeed alone so you start with Aloth, Edér, Durance, Kuna Rua, Sagani and Pallegina (The extra character is to do special quests at your keep) ... I just found out I was missing on that grieving mother character that can join your group in Dyrford village.
HEY! I'm subscribing because of this video. You were to the point, said exactly what your title advertised, and you are effective. Thanks! I hope your channel grows past the 91 subs!
I use the los trick when shades and other assassin like enemies try to hit my back line just run circles around the tanks fight until they pick up aggro but sometimes they don’t and I’m down a wizard the whole fight because he’s playing duck duck goose😅
I was pretty good back when I was younger and played BG1&2 as well as Icewind Dale, but I have to say that I'm getting pummeled in Pillars of Eternity. The combat buff stuff is very useful and something I'll definitely use from now on.
What difficulty are you playing on? I played all the old Black Isle & Bioware CRPGs but I got rusty. I found normal to be enough challenge for my first play through. I even died a few times. More than a few actually
I just bought POE 2 and when I was making a new game I saw that you can import your POE 1 save file and it has effects on the story in POE 2! Awesome! That made me realize, though, that I never did finish POE 1, so I'm back in POE 1 getting my ass kicked again. I love it, but I definitely needed some good tips like these. Thanks, man!
Leveling up isn't really very optional/optimal in PoE. You can't farm monsters as levels stay clear and you certainly don't get much for them anyway. As for picking locks and exploring, again, you don't get much for it and the amount you actually find is finite
playing for the first time and i redid this fight 3:00 ..idk 12-15 times? loads of reloading. iam playing this game for the first time and on hard. but normal is just too boring for me in any game haha. played lots of different other ones and i instantly noticed the choke point. still had to redo this as i used only 2 characters (barbarian and the wizard), because i didnt know you could get eder to come with u initially. man that was hard haha but eventually did it. great video :D.
Gia Gunn's left wonky eyelash if not, go back to the classics and enjoy some of the Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale series. They'll run on almost anything and still look gorgeous
Seriously, man? "There are ways around it, but you will let us figure it out"? Thanks for nothing :( Also, overexplaining how defensive traits defend you and offensive help you deal damage is hardly helpful, I was looking for advice on which ones to pick up and how much to level skills. Anyway, I did learn something after all, so thanks, I guess
Let me tell you that today, 11th day of the 10th month, an Argentinian man used this guide you posted almost 7 years ago. Thank you, Neralyte.

Useful! Thank you for being so concise.

Pulling enemies is not a fun method to engage fights.
I tried story mode and it's still to damn hard!
these are perfect! thanks :)
I like your accent! Thanks for the tips. Really appreciate it
Awesome tips, I'm LTTP on PoE: appreciated!
+Ivory Samoan nps, PoE is a great game, just started another run through myself.
I cracked a dungeon with this trick, but it took me a LONG time
Can't say things will go quickly, but take what works for you and build on it.
That is very helpful. Thank you.

„I’ll let you guys figure out how to deal with that“ is not a great thing to hear in a supposed guide…
I'm gonna play this now omg
Gia Gunn's left wonky eyelash don't forget to check out Pillars 2 as well and if you enjoy them there's plenty of other amazing CRPGs out there!
Neralyte thankyouuuuu! My lower end PC hopefully can play pillars 2 xD

Neralyte thanks you master!!!!!🤣
Neralyte hi again! Can i ask what level does your companion join your party? Is it the same level as you?
Great game...from a Icewind Dale fan but the combat sistem is kinda bad...slow and cluncky, the loading screens...just bad bad and bad.
спасибо
кук куков Пожалуйста (I don't speak russian)

Hey mate, sorry you didn't find it as helpful as you wanted. I'm glad you found something of use out of it though.
Well i find this comment hardly helpful
