Ok that is a valid concern and I totally understand. Yes your purchase is safe with Mecool. I would also like to inform you that when you purchase on Amazon you pay a higher price, because 99% of the boxes listed there are coming from these same sites via Amazon third-party stores anyway. Hence, the delivery and shipping dates are delayed sometimes up to 2 weeks, due to the fact that the boxes are shipping directly from China to you. Some Sellers send boxes to the Amazon warehouse but it is usually expensive for them to maintain so they use the third-party option instead. They have also communicated to me that outside of Amazon they can offer cheaper prices and coupons. The world is a Global marketplace now, and like you I Amazon was my only choice and fearful of anything else. However, for the past four years I have successfully completes hundreds of purchases for AliExpress, Alibaba, Chinese retail stores such as Banggood, Geekbuying, TomTop, Cafago, Fasttech, Mecool, GearBest and many others. They use all forms of shipping FedEx, DHL, Express shipping. I all depends on what you a willing to pay for. Warranty returns can be a challenge for some of them, so what they do is after verifying the issue they either refund you or ship a new box without you have to return the defective one because there is a shipping cost once outside of the US.

Finally got my box after waiting for sometime but it's because I had to ship it to USA and then to Kenya...The box works well and everything is as reviewed in the video but my biggest disappoint is that it does not support Netflix at all,

Why companies decided to leave this feature on is a mystery since we do not live in a HDR only world. Adaptive means it will adjust to the quality of the content been watched so even if you have HDR it will turn it on only when it's detected.

@@tvboxstop so Ethernet should work ok. But best off running. On 5ghz network should be fine. I run Km2 on WiFi 5ghz network and I get right up to what I pay for. Around 300 mbps much higher than its Ethernet.

The AV1 models have seen some compatibility issues with surround sound audio.

So this is Mecool's Android 11 TV OS model. It's Google certified to stream premium services in HD/4K but no ESN for Netflix.

Yes you can and get stereo. However you will need to change the audio output to AV output in the sound settings.

Under display turn the picture quality to adaptive instead of always HDR, same as the fire sticks, this should fix the picture.
