  • World Congress of Overseas Pakistanis, the WCOP, celebrated success of Diaspora Leaders at it's Platinum Champion's Congress on 27th Sept 2022 at the Royal National Hotel, London, UK. The Queen's death was mourned in the WCOP Chairman speech and one minute silence was observed.
    Notable guest speakers included MP Iain Duncan Smith, MP Paul Clark, Lord Rami Rangers, Bishop Alistair Redfern, Sahibzada Jahangir, Aneel Musarrat, Dr Amjad Saqib, Dr Tahir Akhtar, Dr Ghulam Abbas, Raza Jafar, Zoheb Hassan, Vanessa O'Brien, Ray Keene, Cllr Afzal Akram. The Pakistan's High Commissioner Mr Moazzam Ahmed Khan and his wife (Ex Ambassadar Leena M Khan) were the Chief Guests.
    WCOP expressed it's narrative of "Multi-cultural Harmony and Interfaith Tolerance" by having around 250 guests from various ethnic and national backgrounds, reflecting the philosophy of peaceful existence despite differences. Zoheb Hassan and Sirine Jahangir delighted the audience with brief singing performances while celebrating Pakistan's 75th year of Independence, Faraz warmed the crowd with the patriotic song, Dil, Dil Pakistan.
