I discovered you only two days ago, and you are already a favorite recipe/cooking guru. Thank you for delicious cooking! I’ve downloaded you several times each day. Mmm,mm. THANK YOU..every single one is super easy and delectable.
I've made these several times and they are delicious! I've also experimented with upping the amount of ground chicken and adding a few dashes of five spice and MSG to the filling during cooking, and both have been awesome.
I have watched just about all of you air fry cooking recipes and I'm looking forward to trying them. I love egg rolls and this recipe looks easy to make. An air fryer is the best way to cook a bacon wrapped hotdog too.
That burner takes me way back, my mom had one, but you had plugged it up , and she did me and my sister's hair, with a hot comb. when wr were younger, way younger .😊,
I think I need to put shrimp in my rolls😘 the store bought ones say 360 degrees 10 minutes. They turned out great. They were frozen. This will be cheaper. The store ones are rather speedy.❤️
I found a recipe that used tiny shrimp in a can. Since they were tough to find, I tried regular shrimp, but it just didn’t taste right. I finally found the tiny shrimp in the can, and I’m going to try again. The recipe is not an air fry recipe, but you can just use one that is AF, (like this one) to get the times. The cans of shrimp are around the area that has tuna, salmon and some other weird stuff. Not just the tuna, but the more unusual fish items.
I remember 3 years ago for Christmas I made Chinese wontons , with pork. and couldn't make them fast enough. ,every one in my family were eating them up like crazy!!😊
These air fryer egg rolls are to DIE for! I had mine with some Hoisin sauce and some Chinese style spicy mustard, along with a vegetable stir fry. Magnificent!
Thank you for this video. I have the coleslaw mix on hand because I wanted to sir fry some lumpia (Filipino egg rolls), a first for me, so your video is timely and showed me what I need to do. I was going to add tofu, but think I will just use all vegetables instead. Many thanks!❤
Just bought my first pack of rice paper so making this tonight! And yes cutting up a head of cabbage is a hassle and mess indeed I just found sour first hand so bagged from now on
Great video--will definitely try this. Dumb question: Was the air fryer pre-heated to 400 before you added the rolls? It didn't look like it was hot when you were placing the egg rolls in the basket.
Two more quick notes before I try this delicious-looking recipe. (1) You said you are a gluten free house, but those egg roll wrappers contain wheat, so they are not gluten free. (2) You used 1 lb. of protein, but your recipe in the above link calls for 1/2 lb. I'm going to try this with shrimp, so I'll err on the side of protein and go with 3/4 pound (smile). Thanks again!
My sister bought me a air fryer for my birthday which is today. 2 days after Christmas. and I'm going air fryer crazy, I ordered 2 air fryer cook books and a other from Amazon . and don't know if this recipe is in yhe cook books. and I just made my grocery list. and thought about making this, I love Chinese food, but to order it, and sit and wait for it to come to my house, that's when I saw you, so I'm hungry. 😊
the forgive me for using pre-cut veggies in plastic was a bit much yet the recipe looks really good. I prefer totally veggie with no meat but I would give this a try.
Love Ur recipe but I'm vegetarian so I will use tofu PS Agree w UR friend becuz I lo-o-o-o-o-ve toasted sesame oil but I use regular sesame oil 2 sauteé & the toasted oil in dressings & later...2me the additional heat is not necessary but 2 each his own!! Much love & Peace.
Did you turn them over and mist again? The filling looks delicious, and they have that crunch, just think the wrappers look dry. I'll still make them though. Oh, btw, if you're gonna use bagged pre-shredded coleslaw mix, can I use bottled coleslaw dressing? lol
Hi Lynette- if I were you I would fully cook them and then freeze in an airtight container. You could use the air fryer at a low temp to reheat them. Enjoy!
I didn't have duck sauce at home, instead I added 2 TBs of gluten-free hoisin sauce during the stir-fry process. Very good and simple recipe, but... do make sure to let them cool down out of the air fryer! The insides are hotter than the outside.
We have two celiacs (cannot eat wheat) in the family. Would this work with soft corn Tortillas instead of the wheat based wrappers? Who makes gluten free eggroll wrappers?
That looks good! You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Doing the airfryer way!! Yummy, yum! Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!🥘🍲🌭🌮🍕🍟🍿🥗🦐🍝🍠☕🗽🚑🚒🚓
@@cookingwithcoitThat would be amazing Justin, sooo looking forward to it! Would you consider doing "favorite kitchen tools", etc? keep doing what you do, love it!
Heck no! I always use toasted sesame oil in my cooking. The better the brand, the stronger the flavor, and to me - uncooked toasted sesame oil is just too overpowering a flavor to drizzle on a dish. But everyones taste are different so I don't think you're friend lied ❤️, she just has a different taste preference than we do! I actually have been a making your recipe for ages now and didudnt even know it! I actually make it both way- 1. As an “ Egg Roll in a Bowl” (I add a bit of rice wine vinegar though) and serve it over Jasmine rice. and - 2. As an egg roll - same exact recipe as you use!
I ran a carrot over a grater and used a chef's knife to julienne some cabbage. Very fast and easy. Thought about getting a package of cole slaw mix, but found doing it this way was super fast and easy. Also, I added some chopped glass noodles to the mix for that restaurant texture.
It looks delicious but where's the seasoning no salt no white pepper do garlic powder😂 what I do is when I use ground pork I left my me cool first then I put it in a food processor pulsing a few times so it's really ground up
No 5 spice powder, no hoisin sauce, no oyster sauce, too much meat and not enough veg, wrong side of egg roll wrapper was used, no browning of the meat.... what else was wrong with this? OH YEAH, he is in a "GLUTEN-FREE HOUSE" that uses tamari in his WHEAT EGG ROLL WRAPPERS.... A++++
Dude... you need to put that whole mixture in the fridge before you use it on a wrapper or at the very least pat as much of the moisture out of it as you can. Anyone making them like you just did runs the risk of having their wrappers fall apart from all that moisture you have... amateur.
I discovered you only two days ago, and you are already a favorite recipe/cooking guru. Thank you for delicious cooking! I’ve downloaded you several times each day. Mmm,mm. THANK YOU..every single one is super easy and delectable.
I’m loving both the recipe and the technique! I’m tempted to try making a few of these with Indian food.
I think you are very good and for me you talk just right. I enjoy your instructions on cooking.
Thank you so much 🙂
It is very good that you show the products to use , I can look for them easier, thank you
I've made these several times and they are delicious! I've also experimented with upping the amount of ground chicken and adding a few dashes of five spice and MSG to the filling during cooking, and both have been awesome.

I want to do shrimp as well. Those are the kind of egg rolls we get when we order Chinese food- so for sure!!

I made your whole air fryer chicken today and It Was Fabulous ! Ty..love your style of cooking !
I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for letting me know :)
Made your egg rolls last night and they were absolutely delicious. Full of flavor. Thank you so much!!!!
I’m so happy to hear that. Thanks for letting me know!
Followed this recipe for the most part. Delicious AF!
Wow! Such a great post. I cannot wait to make these. I think I'll add mushrooms. Thanks so much ☮
Great idea!
I remember 3 years ago for Christmas I made Chinese wontons , with pork. and couldn't make them fast enough. ,every one in my family were eating them up like crazy!!😊
Looks great! Have to make these egg rolls! Thank you!
Please do!
I agree w the friend toasted sesame oil overwhelms the food imo gives it a weird aftertaste lol these look amazing though!
Those egg rolls looks fantastic. I’ll have to try them
Thanks Carol, I hope you love them!
These air fryer egg rolls are to DIE for! I had mine with some Hoisin sauce and some Chinese style spicy mustard, along with a vegetable stir fry. Magnificent!
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. I love egg rolls. Much appreciated...
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
So delish and easy! Thank you!
How to make the dipping sauce. That will make it more delicious
We make a peanut sauce which is great.
New to your channel. Loved the ease of this recipe, will be trying it this week. Have everything except the pork. Thank you!
Just got my air fryer and came across your page ... These look lush definitely going to make these 🥰
Fantastic I will definitely try this delicious recipe Thanks

I am getting ready to make my own chicken egg rolls can't wait to try your recipe I'll let you know how it turns out thank you so much
Gonna give these a try but can I just say your cooking instructions and tips are perfection. 🫶🏼
Love the crunch!
Me tooo!
The best thing about Justin is in the middle of any recipes we can get something completely different and useful
Aw thank you! I really appreciate those kind words.
Just got an airfare and found your awesome instructions. TY
Great video--will definitely try this. Dumb question: Was the air fryer pre-heated to 400 before you added the rolls? It didn't look like it was hot when you were placing the egg rolls in the basket.
You shouldn’t have to preheat your air fryer- hope that helps
You present very well.
Two more quick notes before I try this delicious-looking recipe. (1) You said you are a gluten free house, but those egg roll wrappers contain wheat, so they are not gluten free. Thanks! I hope you give them a try!
The Cosori instructions suggest preheating, but I did not see it in your video. When do you preheat any of your air fryer dishes?
My sister bought me a air fryer for my birthday which is today. 2 days after Christmas. and I'm going air fryer crazy, I ordered 2 air fryer cook books and a other from Amazon . and don't know if this recipe is in yhe cook books. and I just made my grocery list. and thought about making this, I love Chinese food, but to order it, and sit and wait for it to come to my house, that's when I saw you, so I'm hungry. 😊
Great recipe. I'll give this a try. But I think I'll add some bean sprouts ... probably about 1/2 through cooking the ground pork.
Your friend is correct. sesame oil is for garnish/flavor.
Suggestion: can sautee the minced pork or beef first to drain excess fat, then when 3/4 way done add the cole slaw and finish sauteeing
Love your cooking tips!
the forgive me for using pre-cut veggies in plastic was a bit much yet the recipe looks really good. I prefer totally veggie with no meat but I would give this a try.
I love test toasted sesame oil way more!
thank you
Can the eggs be frozen, if so, would it be better before they are cooked or after cooking them?
Looks yummy👍
Just subscribed. What air fryer do you use. Make and model...haven't bought one yet. Thank you.

Hi- yes I overcooked them a little bit but they were still so delicious!
New subscriber here…Could you make a lot of these and freeze them? If so, freeze them cooked, parcooked or uncooked? Thanks!
Hi Lynette- if I were you I would fully cook them and then freeze in an airtight container. You could use the air fryer at a low temp to reheat them. Enjoy!
Making these tonight. Can they be frozen?
Does anyone know if there’s an option for gluten free egg rolls?
I didn't have duck sauce at home, instead I added 2 TBs of gluten-free hoisin sauce during the stir-fry process. Very good and simple recipe, but... do make sure to let them cool down out of the air fryer! The insides are hotter than the outside.
Great idea!
You didn't curse as much as Sam the Cooking Guy did when he tried the still very hot air fryer egg roll. 😄
We have two celiacs (cannot eat wheat) in the family. Would this work with soft corn Tortillas instead of the wheat based wrappers? Who makes gluten free eggroll wrappers?

I lower the temperature to 350 that way the thin edges don’t burn and cook it a couple minutes longer
This post is just an Advert first. Cooking last
If anyone here can suggest ready-made gluten free egg roll/spring roll wrappers (other than ricepaper wrappers), i would love to hear about them.
These look great!
Thanks!
I can’t believe I just found your channel!! Love everything you do! Also love your kitchen, would you do a tour please!!! 💕💕💕
Thanks so much! Yes will do a kitchen tour one day soon! Thank you!
@@cookingwithcoitThat would be amazing Justin, sooo looking forward to it! Would you consider doing "favorite kitchen tools", etc? keep doing what you do, love it!
I used to have chickens on the farm the youk was always brighter yellow.

You can scrape the skin off of the ginger with a spoon (if you aren't making tea), that way you dont waste ginger.
Please be compassionate. Please be kind. Animals are not ours to eat. Please be vegan. Please. 🙏🌱
Put the ginger on the stove, slightly burned... you will get a better fragrant ginger tea
Thank you, great idea!

Please show how to make frozen fish in air fryer. Thank You
Why are all the ones I get rectangles, not squares?
sjelliott, it sounds as if you used wonton wrappers.
If you have the right mandolin it takes seconds to make that slaw. If not, yeah just buy it
For some reason, the egg roll rappers didn't turn out well is there something I can do to up the flavor?
I just use my peeler to do my carrots!🤷🏽♀️
Yes you are using wheat gluten egg roll wrappers in this video. Gluten !!!
If you take away the oil and meat, you can have a healthy product, use a drop of water or sauce.
Taste great, but I added a ton of 5 spice and oyster sauce to the filling
Not enough cabbage
What your friend said is true.
I'm 2k🎉👍☺
Macros?
You committed an atrocity
♥️♥️
It looks delicious but where's the seasoning no salt no white pepper do garlic powder😂 what I do is when I use ground pork I left my me cool first then I put it in a food processor pulsing a few times so it's really ground up
👍🏻👌
❤
Good morning
Where did you find gluten free egg roll wrapper!!
Since when is Extra Virgin Olive Oil "regular vegetable oil"
So pork mince once it’s cooked turns into chicken ? LOL
I'm going to make this but leaving out the finger, the ginger flavor ruins it for me
did you makie 'egg rolls' without using eggs ?
No 5 spice powder, no hoisin sauce, no oyster sauce, too much meat and not enough veg, wrong side of egg roll wrapper was used, no browning of the meat.... what else was wrong with this?
OH YEAH, he is in a "GLUTEN-FREE HOUSE" that uses tamari in his WHEAT EGG ROLL WRAPPERS.... A++++
Dude... you need to put that whole mixture in the fridge before you use it on a wrapper or at the very least pat as much of the moisture out of it as you can. Anyone making them like you just did runs the risk of having their wrappers fall apart from all that moisture you have... amateur.
Ginger not finger****
Hello I just recently found your channel and subscribed and really enjoy it. I do feel that you talk a little too much.
Thanks for watching!
You talk too much 🫢
do not put ginger.
