4 great choices here. Slightly different from each other, but you can pick your flavor according to your tastes. I’m on team XuanNv thanks to the warmth. But all 4 are great listening experiences.
Out of my IEM's I love my Zero the most so this just shot to the top of my list of what to get next. I love the Xuan Nv but it just doesn't work quite as well for women as it does men when it comes to vocals compared to the Zero, for me at least. Honestly though I want both the Hexa and the Magic One as well...I just like mids, so neutral is where it's at for me.
@@Karasellers-jg3bp I’ve been listening to a lot of super warm and super bright sets lately. And the V-shape that is dominating the market. It’s nice to put the XuanNv/Hexa/StarCity/MagicOnes in and just reset. It’s soothing. As someone who owns all 4 of the ones I compared, I can honestly see myself reaching for all of them at different times. Thanks for the comment!
I just needed a comparison with the Xuan nv! and I think I will like it more, but Tanzgu now comes out with the Yu Xuan Ji which seems to be similar in tuning to the SC5P and my doubts return hahaha
I really dislike the term "boring" being used as an accepted audio descriptor. I know what people mean but it is very loaded It would be like someone pushing to call citrus flavours in cooking "unimaginitve". Use the term often enough and people will understand it, but it is extremely biased and likely to keep people away from experimenting with something they might like.
I agree 100% I don’t really agree with people who call things like the Hexa boring… because they’re not. They’re neutral, natural, un-emphasized or un-exaggerated. And that in and of itself is a flavor. I love all of the IEMs I compared. I don’t find them boring at all. Thanks for your comment. I try not to use audio descriptors that are hard to understand or vague. And when I do, I try to back them up with musical examples. I don’t always succeed, but I think I do ok.
@@AudioAmigoReviews one of the nice things about your review style so far is you aren't using jargon too often and a good percentage of your review is spent talking about what the sound is like for you, what it impacts and how you would describe it. It means that when you use descriptive phrasing later on in the review the listener has a better grasp of what you are meaning.
Fantastic review! Your reviews are extremely detailed. I look forward to an Audio Amigo collaboration!
@@jamesberryman9893 I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamed/thought about it.
Maybe someday. :) Thanks for all the support
