Asiago (Slege in Cimbro) is an Italian town of 6500 inhabitants in the province of Vicenza in Veneto. Main center of the plateau of the Seven Municipalities, on the border with Trentino, it was once the capital of the Spectacular Regency of the Seven Municipalities.
Asiago was, after the Spring Offensive in the First World War, in no man's land and suffered terrible bombardments that completely razed it to the ground.
It is a well-known location for winter tourism (in particular for Nordic skiing) and summer tourism (hiking, mountain biking), the most important of the plateau. Asiago also links its name to dairy products known throughout the world.

Asiago è una bella città. Sono cileno di origine spagnola e veneta, conosco quasi tutta l'Italia ma mi manca Asiago. No è molto conosciuta tra i figli d'italiani, neanche veneti, bisogna farla conoscere di più.
