I'm not a very emotional person, but the entire journey of Max's recovery made me cry like a baby! Being away from his home for over a month, going through so many invasive tests, groped by doctors, and major surgeries is sure to have some effect on him.
Seeing so many people together must have reminded him of some memories regarding the tests, or something. I am sure he will be okay, he needs some peace and quiet to recover and socialize slowly.
