I want to work for Strike
Ben, I want to send $100.00 to my friend using strike lightning ..
Because it's a larger amount, can I do it or is it too large an amount?
@@swedishmanguy shouldn't be a problem as long as they also have a lightning wallet!
Send strike referral code please 👏
MAN! Thats your BEST ever program- im trying to let that all sink in!!!!!
I really appreciate your content man but with the length of the videos, can we please get some timestamps? It would be incredibly helpful.
Awesome presentation! Watching again to soak it all in, great job Ben!
I'm so glad you made this video! I found strike a few weeks ago (I know I'm late to the party) I got on RUclips and I couldn't find any good videos about it. I was even considering making a video myself about strike after I experienced how awesome this was and wanted to scream it from the mountain tops! I still May but it won't be near as instructional as your video, I am not a cryptocurrency channel but I felt like it really needed to be shared 😂 again thanks for making this! By the way muun is awesome as well!
Another awesome vid Ben, I was curious at the start about being sent bitcoin and it being converted to fiat immediately so you wouldn't see the gains as it rises or losses as it dips, but if you in essence send it out right away to a bitcoin wallet you own, you're essentially not losing out from someone sending it in strike vs a CS address from the start. Been wondering about this app, what Jack is doing with this company is beautiful and I can't wait to see how far it reaches in the coming years to the people who truly need something like this.
Thanks so much for both this and the Muun wallet vids. It really has brought to light how inefficient the current banking systems are. I still am having problems with the intermediary agency between Strike and my bank. Much frustration with that. But anything traveling Between moving between my Nano X , Muun wallet or Strike there's zero delays or problems. Thanks again for providing this helpful material. 👍🏽
Edit: I found out from Guy Swan that the issue of being asked to again link your bank is suspected be a minor glitch type issue coming from the Strike App. Fully closing out the app and restarting seems to have worked to correct that. And he also explained enough to me about the "Ach ? electronic check" stuff that I realized that really is the bulk of the delay factor happening.
That was great! Thanks!
Thank you for explaining, very good and informative video!
@2:43 I just cried tears of nostalgia as you just took me from 37yrs old back to 7yrs old
Your the best teacher out there. So clear.
Omg... you... I've only seen that "After these messages" animation once in the last ~20 years... memories...
As always nicely done and an amazing wallet!
Very useful video, thank you.
Thanks for the info! The precise info I needed was towards the end but I learned more than I expected. 👍👍
That’s what I was looking for
thanks for the video. turkey probably needs this at the moment
Nice ! Thank you.
Good presentation. Thanks
Thank You!
cant wait for this to launch in Canada
Do we know when this will happen for us?
This app developer is great
8:50 That's all I needed to know. How to deposit cash into Strike and then send it to someone as a payment.
Mr. Sessions, What amount in dollars would you say is the max for lighting right now, before you would switch over to main chain?
👍🏼🇨🇦 Ottawa Valley here 👍🏼🇨🇦
Thanks in advance .⚡⚡⚡
Heellooo Ben! I really love your vids, and this one is enlightening (hehe), but the part I don't get is the one that begins at 06:30: "Strike" literally requires a full KYC + phone number identification. At the very beginning of the tutorial you stress the fact we don't need a bank account to trigger that app's potential, but what's the point, if it asks us exactly the same data (privacy breaking ones) as a Finance 1.0 institution??
The Strike wallet does not easily allow creation of a standard lightning invoice address. You have to share to a note and then do a copy/paste to the other lighting app.
You the best Ben
Yoo, Johnny Bravo in da House!!!! Sup!
Man, thank you. I’ve done almost every useful tutorial concerning to BTC.

Great video but I have a question. If you have family in a foreign country and they are unbanked, how would they spend the money you send them via Strike or Twitter tips linked to Strike?
I want it, I need it, but I live in Europe :-(
C’mon Jack, you can do this!
Please do a session on using strike- Lightening to pay at a store machine. Thank you.
Great Job..
That money piece tight yo
Does the app let you download a CSV or spreadsheet listing all the transactions?
Hi, question:
strike like Muun use lightning N., but to do so you have to open a channel between your wallet and the counterpart. This is not shown in the video. How do you do that? For instance you paid from your muum wallet to strike wallet instantly but I understand that is only possible if you previously opened a lightning channel between these wallets, did you? How? Thanks
I have a question. Does having a pin activated cancel payments that people try to send you?
Great explanation. Thanks

Hey man, you have great tutorials, one quick question
Can you send btc from strike directly into a hardware cold storage device, or do you HAVE to send btc to a software wallet on your computer first? I'm just getting into this stuff and need help with that. I don't have a computer that can run a software wallet that I like.
I want to know how can I send bitcoin to someone else's wallet? Do I have to send it to my own wallet like blockchain and then send it to the person's bitcoin wallet?
Thanks for the info. One question, if this app asks for your id, and your personal info, this doesnt cancel the whole philosophy behind cryptocurrency ?
Thanks for the great info man ..current user but frustrated that you can't just search existing users....only users you send an invite to sign up. Or request for payment in btc..
We need this but in spanish!!!! it will help us a lot, this tutorial was awesome, thank you!!
Working on that ASAP 😊
@@BTCSessions thank you very much my friend, I will share it everywhere here in El Salvador
Does strike support creating a business account with them ?
Starting early is the best way getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a piority.. The stock market has a plenty of opportunities to a decent payouts with the right skills and proper understanding on how the stock market works
Strike isn't available for download in my country or many others so kinda not "anywhere in the world"?
Great video. For sending fiat within the US, is there any benefit to using Strike over say Venmo? I assume on Strike you would still incur a LN fee, though small.
Sending peer to peer via Strike is free, but you are openly interoperable with any lightning or on-chain Bitcoin wallet. Unsure how this stacks up against Venmo, but I believe they are more of a walled garden. To be honest, I think Venmo/Paypal and other payments platforms will have to adopt this standard if they want to stay competitive.
@@BTCSessions what if i want to send around 50 dollars from coinbase to strike. i cant chose precisely 50 dollars what it arrive 50.23 cents worth of bitcoin. or i can put any number to generate the receving btc adress
Do you need both your bank account and debit card linked onto Strike?
Hold on. How do the unbanked make their initial crypto purchases?
Can you get Strike wallet in Thailand?
There’s any option to link strike with Robinhood if yes can you give me directives on how to go about that
how can you send money to cash app or paypal so you can use the money at a store

Love the idea, but wish strike would make their app a bit more user friendly. Shouldn't be so difficult for people to locate their bitcoin receiving wallet address.
This is important
how much btc limit Can I send,?
Which countries are supported?
Thanks for this helpful video. The 5% bitcoin tx fee on only $25 seems kind of high. I’ve seen similar fees on 10x the amount. Looking forward to comparing it with other exchanges

I tested the sending BTC from Strike to my BTC wallet. Only did $3 worth as a test. Fee was only .27cents. However it does show up as pending in my wallet this was at 1pm which was 9hour ago. I have faith it will confirm but it sure is taking a while.
How did that work for you and what wallet are you using? If I may ask..
Just once question after giving my basic details and driver license upload how much time it take to verify my strike wallet ?
When can i buy and send crypto, how much time it take
Did you get verified?
if you did how much time did it take?
Need Strike in Europe!!!!!
Cool, but how does this help an unbanked person who is paid in cash move money across borders (or anywhere for that matter)? Most unbanked people are going to be paid in cash, so some intermediary is going to have to take that cash and convert it into something digital. Thinking about how Western Union and MoneyGram take cash from people etc. Would a BTC atm do that instead?
I have the same question
Mr what's the minimum amount on strike and what's the maximum on lightning??? This info will be share to Central America ,please give us a tip dude
In the USA,
Debit cards are unavailable for now.
What’s the difference in a bank and zelle if it’s not on the actually blockchain using lightning network and cash? Sounds kinda centralized.. 1. Do you think SOL will be better into the future because it’s fast and cheap and on the blockchain?
The difference here is that this is interoperable with non custodial lightning wallets, meaning there is zero friction moving from one platform to another. It is all using real Bitcoin, which is on the blockchain. Lightning payments are Bitcoin in payment channels, with pre- signed settlement payments exchanged that can be settled on chain by either party at any time with no risk of fund loss.
I do not think that scaling on-chain is in any way sustainable long term if you want to keep access to running a node accessible, and thus decentralized. This is not just a storage issue, but also a latency issue - being able to simultaneously download and upload all the world's transactions in real time and maintain consensus worldwide would eventually require data transfer faster than the speed of light.
Even taking a step back, if we go the route of only large data centers running nodes... Then why use a blockchain at all?
In short, layered scaling and having low value transactions as data separate from the main chain makes the most sense and enables lots of other great features, communications networks and smart contacts to be built on top of Bitcoin.
Why is it "not available in your country"? Isn't it supposed to be global?
Thank you for posting this video. This really looks interesting. How does it handle currency conversations when sending to someone in another country?
Strike takes care of the conversion, but in a really smart way, so you get better rate than anyone else offers. When you send USD to EUR, it immediately converts it into Bitcoin on exchange, sends the Bitcoin over their lightning channel to their node physically in Europe and there they immediately convert BTC to EUR on exchange and add it to the European strike user.
Now… only if I could use it in Hawaii. :-(
@@2much2see2 If only I could use it in Europe!
Lousy weekly limits of $100 with AML/KYC requirements satisfied! Come on Jack, fix these ridiculously low transfer amounts.
⚡️⚡️⚡️ hopefully be in uk soon

Amazing! When will this be available in Canada?
I'm not entirely sure, but right now Jack Mallers' priority is helping the people of El Salvador with remittances. I suspect sometime this year though, along with Europe.
Wow!
Please bring it to europe...thx 4 content
If you insert an amount in dollar, and you pay with dollar, what happens if bitcoins value crashes.
Is my 10 dollar in my channel still 10 dollar? How does that work?
How long does it take strike to verify you, Please
If i want send usdt or btc from binance to strike , is possible?
Settings, "and thats it" What about the LEGAL button?
So this is PayPal in structure. You send BTC that is converted into fiat, OK.
Then the 4th world person you are sending the fiat to who does not have a domestic bank account does what with the fiat living on their Strike phone app?

Like power bill ? Pay Rent? Groceries?
Hi,great video...can i send bitcoin from my kucoin wallet to strike...thanks in advance
can strike be downloaded in canada?
i dont understand the difference (advantages) between strike- and blue- wallet ...
If you just want to receive/hold BTC then Strike won't be useful for you. However if you have a need to hold dollars and receive international payments then it's great. You can also buy BTC via the app by funding with dollars from a bank account, then sending direct to a BTC wallet like Blue. This will incur effectively zero fees.
@@BTCSessions ok, thx!
Just got let's see
Unable to withdraw money. How to withdraw money from the strike app to bank account
Strike requires Plaid therefore should not be used
Strike is not available in Canada.
How do I receive money on the app without being scammed?
Does Strike have to follow the same reporting rules as Coinbase for US customers? Buy and sell orders?
When you're in strike you're holding dollars. They never hold Bitcoin for you, and anything coming into the app is instantly converted. This means there's nothing to report within the app itself.
@@BTCSessions but if I send bitcoin to my own wallet for buying purposes from usd ? Would Strike need to report large buys? Intriguing
@@mmhodler5753 limits per week are below the anti money laundering threshold. In terms of if you sell later at a gain/loss that would be up to the individual to track. Strike uses bitcoin as a payment rail, not a speculative asset.
