I emailed you a link to the old harmony catalog from 1965 and pics I think are of that guitar. Thought it was fun Love hearing you play it and making it sound so great Love the blues lesson
I absolutely love 'Blues', probably because it's very easy to improvise ( I use easy with caution though lol... I'm certainly not saying it's simple ), my wife plays piano and keyboards so sometimes we'll play together a while and it's usually blues. My favorite key to play in is E or A as well simply for the use of the open strings and E preferably since you get two open strings and more is betterer LOL! Thanks for sharing your ideas, I'm always down for learning a new lick or idea, have a merry Christmas :)
HiDiHi... Interesting comparison between two totally 'diff' guitars... Me ? preferred the laminated Lowden... Crisp and clear... Actually have a laminated Back & Sides Dreadnought with Spruce Top and throws out the loudest volume of all my guitars... (not a 'cheap' guitar either) ... It is an all-around favorite because of it's unique Tones... Can do 'everything'... Enjoyed the 'lesson'... as usual... 'Mary' Christmas ! Cindy and a very 'Merry' New Year !
Big difference on the conversion. The original ladder had a funkier, brighter sound Find yourself a 60's or early 70's Gibson LG0-for that Lightnin Hopkins gut bucket blues sound- they were ladder braced

I like the sound. It would be fun to find the same model with original braces and compare ❤️
