    Love the reactions! Just as a bit of info: The "Unknown Regions" are within the main Star Wars galaxy, not a separate one. The Chiss also live within the galaxy, hidden in the unknown regions. The reason the location is so "unknown" is due to the lack of any safe hyperspace lanes through them. This means it is very unlikely that the map, different holograms, etc. are Chiss technology (or Grysk, since the Grysk Hegemony is also in the Unknown Regions), as it sounds like those things were created by the race from the second galaxy, which would be something entirely new

    • @JaigEyesStudios
      @JaigEyesStudios Год назад +6

      She didn't beat Kanan, in fact this isn't about beating someone in a saber combat. It's about surrendering her stubbornness and let it all out by expressing her emotion so it doesn't hold her back from connecting to the force, and in that moment connecting to the kyber crystal.
      Overall, Sabine could potentially tap into the Force, but it wouldn't necessarily give her powers like Force push or Force speed. It might be more along the lines of how Chirrut Imwe operates, as he is not technically Force-sensitive but still calls upon it to guide his actions towards their intended outcome. The Force needed to put things in motion and Chirrut was protected by it. Perhaps Sabine could use the Force in a similar manner. Surrender herself to the Force so it can guide her actions to it's goal rather than her own.

    My problem with the lightsaber shankings in Kenobi wasn't that the stabees survived, it was how quickly & easily they recovered. Reva and the Grand Inquisitor just sort of... walked it off? Shit, Reva was chasing a 9-year-old across the sands of Tattooine ON FOOT like what, a couple hours later. After little to no medical attention.
    At least with Sabine we see that it was a life-threatening injury that she wouldn't likely have survived without being rushed to the hospital immediately, and took a while to recover from (perhaps days) even with the best of Star Wars sci-fi medical tech.

Maul had the dark side to keep him alive. And the grand inquisitors species has two stomachs so it would be logical for him to be able to survive when the lightsaber cauterise his injury. I think for those who have seen rebels this show is just golden And amazing. But while it's nice to know who Ahsoka, Sabine, Hera, and chopper are it isn't necessary. In 1977, no one know who obiwan, Anakin, r2d2, c3p0 and jabba were but old Ben gives Luke this history laden take about Jedi, the force, the clone wars and Vader, yet everyone rolled with it and the show taught you what you need to know about them. If you watch the prequels and the clone wars then watch a new hope or will hit very differently then if your watch it first. Either way you can still watch the movie and enjoy it with whatever knowledge you have.
    The same is true with this. You don't need to know there history to enjoy the show it'll mean more to you if you do not if they do their job right you will end up living them anyway and hopefully make you want to watch rebels to learn more about them

    I think it's substantial that Baylon Skoll doesn't want to kill Ahsoka or even see her killed. I also love the "Skoll and Hati" reference. The Wolves that chase the Sun and Moon. Skoll (one that mocks) and Hati (one that hates). Skoll and Hati are also duel wielded daggers in Valheim. That probably didn't have any influence but it fits anyway.

    My theory about Baylan Skoll: he was a Jedi when Order 66 hit, but he survived, likely by learning that he couldn't continue to ignore the Darkness while he tried to avoid getting killed. Experience taught him that, if the standard Jedi way was open to extermination, then he could not embrace it as the end-all be-all. In refusing to embrace the Sith path either, he did not so much "fall" to darkness, as learn to navigate it. His comment about "power such as you've never dreamed", I think, is his desire to become so strong that no future "order 66" could threaten him again.

    I feel like people casually forget we only saw Ahsoka twice briefly in Rebels after her fight with Vader. The first time (from her perspective) was immediately after the fight where she had no time to process what just happened and the second time we see her is after the time jump and she’s completely stoic and has become “Ahsoka the White” as the fandom jokingly calls her. And I feel like the whole fandom just forgot that the first real time we see her after Vader when she’s had time to sit with that.. she’s stoic and it definitely changed her. They blame it on Rosario instead of paying attention to the position Ahsoka herself was put in and the culmination of all her experiences (2 wars, genocide, it was technically illegal for her to be alive at one point, and facing Anakin/Vader who was like her older brother and seeing who he’d become).
    And the crossed arms is just Ahsoka’s signature pose, but it kinda confuses me when ppl are like “she’s not like the character” but then switch to “she’s too much like the character” with tiny parts that don’t even affect the story lol. Also Rosario had actually been an Ahsoka fan years before she was cast and was fancast by the fandom, so she had already seen the series beforehand btw.

    im loving the show so far and i gotta say the thing i am loving most and most excited to keep exploring is Baylan and his apprentice. I love that he seems to be continuing jedi traditions with how he is training her like with the jedi braid, i like that they are really showing how being a jedi was also being part of a unique culture that is more than just its specific beliefs, cause Baylan would have been raised since infancy as a jedi, even if he has left the path of the light and the jedi way, he is still part of that culture. The only thing i wish the show would maybe fill in the gaps a bit more with Ahsoka and Sabines relationship, cause we dont really have any context other than Ahsoka left Sabine cause "she wasnt ready" but that she is now ready i guess. I wish the show would help fill in those gaps a bit, or i wish we had a book or comic that did at least.

Although with all the characters older and wiser now, and concern about people loyal to the Empire possibly starting another war, it makes sense that they are more serious at this point. In the last episode she outright said her ancestors are Dathomirian meaning either she is also Dathomirian or she was born somewhere else but still knows Nightsister Magic but since she also corrects Shin and saying she is a survivor and in Mandalorian we are told her village was destroyed during the Clone War im willing to bet she is from Dathomir. Also your reasoning for her not being Dathomirian is that she looks different she might be from a different part of Dathomir like how people from Africa look different than people from China or maybe she isnt a Dathomirian(as in a Zabrak born on Dathomir) and is just a Force Sensitive Human born on Dathomir

And the females are paler colours with no horns. Both are still considered full bred Zabraks. If you're implying "female Zabraks don't look like Ventress" as in the iridonian ones, yes because they're a subspecies that live on a completely different planet.
