- Take a cab-car ride over Metra's Fox Lake line from Libertyville into Chicago Union Station over the former Milwaukee Road Fox Lake line.
Pass several opposing trains along the way, as well as several active interlocking towers.
Enjoy listening to interesting commentary from the crew as they describe interesting railroading details and history along the way

It was awesome to hear a modern engineer say they wish they could run E unit locomotives for nostalgia!! That would be awesome. The E’s and F’s were my favorite diesels of all time, love those streamliners
Awesome! A cab car ride!
Nice to see this film show up again. I have this DVD and was longtime friends with Frank Marling until his unfortunate passing in 2019.
Yesss!!! This was one of my favorites in the collection. Hopefully Chicago’s Metra is uploaded soon. Thank you Railway Productions ❤️❤️
Chicago’s Metra is available on VRF.TV
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing this with us!
I always like grocery shopping, shopping and malls.
Will you be uploading Chicago's Metra too?
That is streaming on Vrf.tv
Awesome Train Video Les
For anyone interested, Metra's RUclips channel has locomotive cab ride along vids for all but the UP lines. The series got interrupted by covid. Many of the lines are covered in both directions.
I recall a Metra spokesperson stating at one point while the series was still active that the UP was not permitting Metra crews to ride along in the fireman's seat for the purposes of filming a ride along video.
I Started riding Metra in 2004.
i like train vidoes on youtube👍

Could you do Cab Ride Through The Rockies please? Been waiting for it for a long time. Would like to find out about the Moffat Tunnel.
Is it weird that I like to consider this Cab Ride DVD to be stand alone when comparing it to the other Cab Ride series? ^^'
Never knew they ran Amerail cab cars on the Milwaukee lines
Me either. Probably ran on all the lines when they were new. Occasionally you’ll still see one on the line
The Amerails were awesome when they had K5LA’s before they were renovated.

just because there's a cab on top of the car doesn't mean it's a cab car, cause it's still a passenger car
That’s the definition lol

I have a list of questions for you re: your content and your knowledge of all the railroads that you’ve covered - is there a good place where I can ask you those questions? Facebook messenger? Email?
