- In this weeks episode we visit a spectacular tiny house which is a childhood dream come true! After growing up dreaming of living in a house truck and with a fascination with small space design, Kate was able to make her dream come true by building her own beautiful tiny house!
She was later joined in her home by her partner Todd who as a landscaper, has made some stunning additions to the home, including a fantastic outdoor living space.

They certainly have created a paradise for themselves. Loved seeing all the treasures displayed without being cluttered. Very happy for them.

Kate did the right thing by building her tiny house rather than getting a huge mortgage. Owning your home gives you peace of mind. Being able to move it is sensational and sensible. The addition of the outdoor spaces is a huge asset, especially that bathtub. The lower cost of living helps the saving plans for their own piece of land.

Every time I don't think I could live in a tiny home, I come across wonderful videos like this where the interior and exterior designs are so well done, I change my mind instantly.

Yeah... I wouldn't label it exactly as enthusiasm but... Idk, she seems to be the brains of the project and damn!... She knows EXACTLY what she is doing. Some people might've missed some "little details" on the house because they aren't 'home living experts'... It's not all about aesthetics, it's more about functionality. And she did get some parts truly right. There's some tweaks here and there that she missed but they are somewhat insignificant. Overall... One of the BEST tiny houses I've seen. Watch out for this woman 😆

Oh my goodness, that stunning wooden kitchen sink is something I've never seen before. Matched only by that amazing outdoor tub. I'm about ready to move in! I'll even take the cute dog. This is a gorgeous home. Todd's landscaping is superb, and Kate's interior decor is simple, homey and comfy looking.

Some tiny homes are memorable for their expensive design features or the clever fold out tables. Then there is this one, that is stunning and memorable because every feature and artwork has a story of their friends and family, and their own creativity and talent. It is like they are surrounded in wairua and love. It really is a place to come home to.
I truly enjoy watching your episodes. Have you ever thought of looking into other parts of the world ? I would like to see how people live in tiny houses in parts of the world where the weather is challenging. I love your channel, keep up the good work and thank you for the joy you give

What a lovely couple. Their home seems very welcoming. I can imagine how relaxing it must be to come home to that space every day. I think my favorite room is the kitchen. It can be difficult to get a workable kitchen in a tiny house. Kate certainly did in her home. The outside is just as gorgeous as the inside.

That's the first timber sink I've seen used in a tiny house. Congrats on a walk-in shower. Many tiny houses have those pokey little tubs that arent big enough for much of anything. Spectacular! Love the rest, too...beautiful place !

This is a gorgeous home and set up and they're right, the outdoor bathtub is a highlight! I love the way this couple has both contributed, her by owning the home and him by adding all the great touches, including the deck. It was also good to hear that they get slugs but still manage to grow their own food because I am battling slugs here in West Clare Ireland and it's good to know it can be done!
If you can ring your garden with copper pipe the slugs will not come. They can't touch copper! I bought some copper dishes to set my cat bowls in and the slugs completely stay away. It used to be a mecca for every slug in the neighborhood or so it seemed. :)

It's a nicely designed home and it's nice to see a tiny home that's green and not the more standard black. That outdoor tub makes it seem like a resort type dwelling.

Kate said, 'Why would anyone want blinds? I get up when it's light and go to bed when it's dark." It's a lovely way to live, but for those of us living closer to the Poles, there would be too much daylight, and not enough sleeping time.
Blinds can also be a good way of reducing thermal warming in a house (as well as cooling).
