Richard Tice "Appalled" Over Bank's Decision To Close Nigel Farage's Accounts

  • Nigel Farage has claimed his bank accounts have been closed, saying life in the UK is becoming “completely unliveable”.
    The former Brexit Party leader said the unnamed banking group, which he has been with since 1980, told him it was a commercial decision.
    Mike Graham is joined by Reform UK party leader Richard Tice who explains his point of view on the matter.
    Richard says: “Nigel is struggling to find a new account and it is absolutely appalling. They don’t want people of our political leaning to succeed!”

I'm now too frightened to make any complaint to my bank, or to complain about their fervent support of the gay pride political campaign, which I stronly disagree with. I already had one account at HSBC closed down arbitrarily, caused me huge problems. I cannot afford to let it happen again. Customers are now the playthings of banks and big business. This all started from an accusation from Labour MP Chris Bryant. He alleged that Farage had received £548,573 from RT the Russian state TV passed on by the Russian Goverrnment in May 2018. This accusation was investigated and Farage proved money he had received from RT as an MEP which was declared in his accounts was a few thousand, NOT hundreds of thousands. This money was paid for TV appearances (usual fee £500) he made several appearances. In fact Chris Bryant MP also made appearences on RT but never claimed money. This dirt that Bryant had smeered Farage with usually sticks with the Left press. Enter the TRIC awards 2023. On May 4th 2023 nominations were opened for voting. They closed on 12th May 2023. It was clear that Farage was the voters winner. Farage states the bank had contacted him by phone early May 2023 telling him accounts would be closed. A letter shortly backed this up. Late June, the bank closes his accounts so soon after the award ceremony, and his attack on the BBC, ITV Channel 4 Sky and other MSM companies. My guess is someone at TRIC awards may have tipped off others as to Farage in the process of winning the award? Spiteful influences in the City and London contrived to shut down Farage by doing this act. It is not beyond reasonable doubt for this to happen. Information on all this can be found on the Spectator fact check site on line. Chris Bryant has never proven his claim but refuses to apologies for his claims.

    Nigel Farage has been told his bank won't allow him an account because he is "rude and discriminatory."
    Having worked in banking for over 30 years,they could well shut down many of their managers' accounts,because they could be described as that also.

      Very few UK companies like receiving off-shore money. If they unwittingly handle laundered money they get fined millions. So they just don't deal with off-shore accounts. HSBC especially got badly bitten. EU is obsessed with money-laundering.

    • @hiredranger7410
      @hiredranger7410 Год назад

      The EU is obsessed with money laundering when it comes to ordinary people. But banks are able to do it routinely. There is also a lot of money laundering activity within the EU which is done quasi legally as long as you tick the right box. It does little to stop the criminals and corrupt at the top of the chain. But unduly harms ordinary people and businesses. Like much EU legislation, it is poorly implemented window dressing to appear to be serious about it and appease ordinary people and activists.

    • @charleswhite758
      @charleswhite758 Год назад

      @@hiredranger7410 Money laundering is tax evasion, which is the job of the Taxation Authorities and police to prosecute. Recently banks have been appointed as quasi-agents of the Taxation Authorities and police. (Another of Gordon Brown's messes?). They are by law agents of their customers. How can they be both?
      That saves the Taxation Authorities and police a lot of time and money, but it corrupts civil society, where we should have clearer definitions between citizens and state. It does seem to be a fascist/corporatist EU thing. Very Un-British to have one's own bank reporting one to the police.

    This is the time to nationalise all banks. Most of our political problems, loss of freedoms, lockdowns all stem from the fiat banking system.
