With all the 3D printers and Laser cutters taking over the hobby it is so awesome to have hobbyists who can take junk drawer items and turn them into treasures! Thank you!
I have experience with 3D printers and it's actually still pretty difficult to print tiny stuff like this. So it's amazing to see anything this small being produced at all 🤩
I ❤️ these. My grandpa used to whittle and he also made tiny furniture and baskets from peach seeds, nuts etc. This reminds me of him. Thanks for the memories ❤️.
Using the styrofoam and pins, to hold those tiny pieces, is such a great idea! I thought 1/12th scale was small, but actually seems giant, compared to this. This is so amazing.
Watching you make that tiny kitchen hutch (and looking at the larger 1:12 one) made me think that you could make a tiny piano using a similar technique (and masses of patience when it came to the keys!) Patience and steady hands - both of which you are gifted with. Making a beautiful little fully-furnushed walnut house! Thank you for sharing your marvellous talent with us
I just love all of your projects... My daughters and I are working on Mr. Worm and his home with wifey. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
I was worried about you because I followed your crochet stuff. But there you are! Love everything you do and hope you come back to crochet too. ❤️ You're the best at learning from.
I loved this before. But this has really sealed it.I think it’s the most amazing miniature set I have seen. You used simple things, but made everything look so amazing and perfect for the miniature home. The patience and creativity you show and of course your unfailing talent always shows us with tin foil card and glue ..We can be transported into a magical world where things are so fabulously magical ,with no worries of the world…Thank you for always sharing with us.This makes my heart sing and makes me remember finding Sweetwilliam flowers one day at the bottom of our garden that we’re never there before.I. Was so convinced the fairies had put them there for us. The innocence of childhood 🥰
I couldn't get walnut shells so I made them from an appropriate shaped stone n covered it with polymer clay and cut it down the centre before I baked it on the stone then easily removed when cooled, now I have to try making something and I'm dying to try what u just did cos it's adorable, thank u so much for the inspiration Ur very talented👌💖
I wrote something similar in the first video, the itty bitty furniture is so darling! This whole project is precious! Looking forward to finding out who’s going to live there.
I like your basket design! I bet a different type of basket could be made by draping cheesecloth over a peg the same way, to shape it, and stiffen with glue. Or cheesecloth might make a good hammock, or a fish net. You could glue in little glass beads as floaters on a fish net.
Seeing you build this furniture, I'm now getting ideas how I could build a walnut shell itself, out of strips of thin cardboard or paper egg tray. I could cover an egg in saran wrap, and glue thin strips of cardboard over it vertically, radiating from top and bottom like lines on a globe. Cover that in crinkled paper towels glued on. If I wanted a larger "walnut" I could even shape an egg out of foil, and do the same thing. The saran wrap would allow the cardboard to be pulled off later. I would want to form one half of the egg at a time, and let it dry fully before forming the other half, to be sure they stayed separateable.
She has a video on making a pumpkin using foil. If you want to use an egg without wasting one, you can poke a tiny hole in one end of the egg, a bigger hole in the other end, and blow into the small hole to get the egg out. Might be easier to pop the yolk to get it out.
Or you could use those plastic eggs that are available around Easter, may be available soon. Even if you covered the whole egg at once, you could still cut it in half after with an exacto knife.
@@recoveringsoul755 You know, I didn't think of that, mostly because Easter Eggs are always cut in half horizontally and I want vertical split. But you're right! I was just being a bit shortsighted. It's worth testing to see whether the plastic is easy to cut. I'm a little worried it would be hard to cut, and slippery.
Your crafting ability is totally awesome. I love tiny little things but my eyesight really puts limits on what I can do (that and my unresponsive fingers lol😅).
Your videos are like 6 tutorials in one. Also I’ve made a couple tutes myself and it’s hard! Like making the little furniture is work, but fun work. Making the video and making it make sense, editing, voiceovers, waiting to film before making what you want- I find that so hard! Also getting your camera or phone in the right position where it’s close but you can still see what you’re doing! Seriously how did you manage that? I’m so impressed.
I once told Dark Raven Designs she was NUTS! 'cause she makes Harry Potter vignettes inside match boxes. I think you have usurped the title of Queen of the Crazies! But--a good kind of crazy. Still love ya, but if you keep going at this pace, you're gonna be blind soon. I love the entire project. It appeals to the inner child no matter the age. Thank you! Oh, heavens, I just got an image of Sharon making tiny houses out of pistachio shells.
@@RavensMinis I know they're fun and I'm jealous you ladies are still young enough to have the eyesight to make them. The smallest thing I ever made was a teddy bear about three inches high. He's poseable and hand sewn from an old mink collar that belonged to an aunt.

True. I'd still love to have one for all the stuff I can't easily make, just so it looks crisp.

Yay! I'm so glad it sparked some ideas, I just love that. Thank you and have fun!

Wow he whittled furniture that tiny? A lost art
It’s great. All I need is a walnut shell…and talent of course!

So adorable! But then again, tiny is adorable the way you make things!
Those are gorgeous! Not sure I could make one cos I don’t think the arthritic hands would cooperate but I do love watching you!
How cute of a home! Can't wait to see the little family that lives there!
the video with the tiny doll to live in there will be released today!

This is awesome thank you. Grains of rice for chair legs and splitting a toothpick into logs really sets the tone!! Ingenious. ❤️
so cute... looking forward to part three!
Genial, simple materials - cardboard, twine, glue and two skillful hands and the result is amazing.
Thank you very much!
