Awesome video i actually know this wave you guys would like to go surf body board skim board or body surf an film its called Linda lane its south of the San Clemente pier and north of 204 and there is a tunnel form the parking lot i surf there a lot when there is a good combo swell it is good, it barrels like almost every morning no matter the size and the waves are like jello slabs, the biggest its gets is 4 to 6 then its starts closing out but when your there in the water there is like a wave that breaks way out and it kind of looks like a outer reef of some sort its called like west reef but when your there you will see it and know what I'm talking about just recommending you guys surf and maybe film there its good all year round, but love the work and love the videos and i met you guys once i think it was a t street 2022 it was 6 to 8 foot waves i was wearing a black gath helmet and i had a catch surf crowed killer that was black and was 7'2 and if you remember then hi again.
Its not illegal, here or in this case. Its when high tide comes this ocean water gets stuck there. And these guys do it all the time. If they didn't, the city would have to, so they dont mind. One less thing for them. In one of their videos, you'll see a city worker releasing it while they stand there and wait for it.
The river is coming from the bridge to the beach. So this would happen anyway. Dont make a big deal out of it. High tide restores the dunes and then when low tide is there the dune overflows and the sand gets swepped away
No way me and my family were at Florida and saw this and it had a sign says do not swim in this area. Probably one of the reasons why they always have red flags.
Who did? The 2 older gentlemen? The way it did everyday that week from the high tides filling it up over and over. It happens naturally eventually it’s over and over from ocean water
I don’t think people get how this would happen naturally. Due to erosion and extreme high tides, the water would breach anyway, creating a gaping new hole to throw out the excess rainwater that would’ve DESTROYED INFRASTRUCTURE.
Explanation: Its actually extra flood water that will eventually overflow and cause property damage. To stop that , they drained the river flood water to the ocean and it fills naturally after a year due to rain water continuously building up. They were only speeding up the process and this does happen naturally. (ps they do this every year)

@BEEFSTV hell yeah 😎
I like how you can see the continuous erosion (i think that's the word) in the sand walls.
It is the word man!
It's more like collapse than erosion
You are sorta right. It is actually weathering not erosion, erosion is the process of carrying the sand away and into the ocean
