Yeah the axles were wider because they used a Dana 44 or 60 front, and a GM 14 bolt rear. Same with the Ford Bronco. It had the Dana 44 front as well, with a ford 9" rear. The ford 9" looked remarkable similar to the Toyota 8" axles. But, both trucks did have a " unique" stance. Correct me if I'm wrong internet. But that is how i remember it.

You’ll need a dremmel, a drenes grinder bit cube style and a little patience which I know you have. You then start taking half the plastic material from the behind the grill making it thin until you see the front foil start to thin out and pill it off. You do that all around and avoid the center emblem and bottom corners. The result is amazing. If you hit me up I’ll share pics and videos. Have an awesome day.
Just received notice that they're back in stock again so I've ordered a set of those rally wheels. Man, your Blazer looks sweeeeet!!! Think I'll do mine in blue and white as well. Did you have any trouble getting your hood to fit? Mine is taking a lot of work; doesn't want to set flush with the tops of the fenders. Lots of sanding/filing. Same with the tailgate. Yeah grab those wheels as fast as you can they blow out of stock in minutes! I have missed them twice before I got mine lol, I had the same issues with the hood and tailgate also, if you plan on multiple coats of paint be sure to sand down the edges to compensate for the material. Happy building through the year!

Oh LMAO. I saw that same exact aluminum chain at Wal-Mart as well. $3 to $5 for 5of them. Only one was scale looking tho. Just dont use it for rc towing because it is aluminum and not super strong.

The front axles may have been danas but the rear axle was narrower so the tires wouldnt run in the same tracks for more traction was the reason.

I really love the true scale look but they are really stiff at first, they have very little flex,
