I want to get into rc trucks, but I don't no know where to get one,I from Lethbridge Alberta...can u maybe point the first step out,I'm model car guy,I do custom stuff with my car's n trucks,so I'd like to try rc now.Oh n damn that is a killer paint job nicely done, cant wait to see what u show next.thanks for sharing
@@cameronleeangusgrosventreb3744 I use ebay, amazon, Tower Hobbies. If your just starting out, I recommend a Axial scx10 ii. If you want something a little more scale, go with a RC4wd trail finder 2.
This is the best mod vid on the blazer I've seen since owning my one.... The way the rtr one is designed is a pain in the rear to get on and off to change the battery when out and about.... Nice one 👍😎
Yes, I painted it. I used duplicolor paint, it was performance white and dark cherry red metallic, then covered in clear coat. When I was done, it was sanded with 2500 grit and polished with buffing compound.
Very very nice. I love the way u mounted body...I just purchased the side mounts. Now wish I didnt...this is way better. Do u have a link for the rear an front bumper an the bumper holder..also what rear shocks are those.
I have the painted body. I wish there was paint that matched the teal, yellow, orange or blue painted body. Im going to end up using polished aluminum to cover the rockers like they did back in the 1970s. I guess it will be period anyway.
I used Tamiya panel line paint. Use lite coats and only do one side at a time. Its thin like paint thinner, one drop will run around the door lines. Wipe off excess with a q-tip
RC4WD has a 4 link kit for the TF2 chassis. I used that and experimented with different rod end links till I achieved the wheelbase I needed for the scx10 ii axles to line up. I might do a video in the future.
Man, that paint is nice and slick!! Great job. Did I spot a set of brake rotors? I recall In the other video, you mentioned that the bed cap required a lot of sanding -- could you please elaborate a bit? Was it too tight against the back of the cab? I'm just now fitting mine and it seems to fit okay or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, thanks for posting your video.
Yes, i did put some rotors on it, i cant recall the brand, maybe yeah racing. The topper did fit too tight against the back of the cab, when i would tighten the screws it was not sitting flush with the cab. Sanded the back of the cab and the bed tops quite a bit till it fit better.

That's a good idea!
Are those Traxxas front and rear axles? If so was it difficult to fit them on the tf2?
They are axial scx10 ii axles, I had the tf2 4 link kit on it so they were pretty easy to mount up
What did you use to get your door and hood lines
I used Tamiya panel line paint. Use lite coats and only do one side at a time. Its thin like paint thinner, one drop will run around the door lines. Wipe off excess with a q-tip
Nice👍🏾
Thanks 💯
How did you do the links can you do a vid on that mi big bro!!!

I had no idea the bumpers had pegs on them...I got my blazer used. An the pegs are not there...
Sounds like they were cut off. you should be able to find the bumpers on ebay or amazon.
Having a time finding the front bumper set where it slides into chassis head
