Hi just wanted to ask: my ref compressor for use on my car's tires was working properly but when it was used to inflate an inflatable pool, using it for almost 30 minutes it heated up and won't work anymore. It still has the relay on it. If it was powered, it will click and run then stop after a while then click again. It's still relatively new. Thank you very much!

in the ref with freon some freon is suspended in oil, this will foam for a short while when comp comes to pressure on start. a small amount will circulate with freon lubin valves etc. many car compressors circulate oil thru systems constantly and need a oil trap-feed back loop for continuous duty. if you don't tip it any exess oil should leave after first run of a few mins.
If the start relay is ok just use it ! it a simple 2 wire +grd power n go. genaric start relays are available for under 10$ us, whth instr. i'd leave comp oil in it, no worries. pag oil etc. are meant to marry with freon and have additives to prevent wash off of comp parts, examp r12 to 134a 134a oil must be added or comp will burn up due to lub separation, beading off! any quality synthetic will work. turbine mineral oil wash the standard for over half a century.

any oil in tire might help those d..b alloy rims from bead leakin there is soo little real rubber in todays tires they are practically petro themselves!!

​@@nhengineer1943 I'm familiar with the compressor function. If you get to know each other better before commenting that there is a way to use it for air only. I showed it in another video ..... in the video you comment I even showed how you can change the oil and its work afterwards ........... I think the comment makes no sense ... even you haven't watched the video

Using fridge compressor oil is exactly what you should NOT use as the oils are hygroscopic. It's fine in a closed system where there is no exposure to moisture, but not in this application.

I had the same question. Do I empty out the original oil to refill it with regular motor synthetic oil? The original oil in the compressor is already exposed to the air and moisture.

Could you please give me a hint why would compressor not blow any air? It is working and all 3 pipes are open but no air pumping from neither pipe...Please give me advice :)

@@sinanusman4368 Of course it'll work. A fan is 150w max. But compressor is above 500w. It might not last
