This was what introduced me to Jimmy Buffett. I was only 2 or 3 years old when I first watched Elmopalooza, more than 20 years ago (I''m 26 now, but turning 27 in November), my older brother taped it when it aired in Australia, but the songs that were played were very memorable. And this one was my favourite. Many years later, I started to learn a few of his songs on guitar. I love playing them, because they make me happy, but I was only a casual fan at that point. I came back to watch this after hearing the news that Jimmy Buffett had passed away, and I have been learning more of his songs. One of my old High School teachers is a Parrothead and he is devastated. In the event I see him again, I will play Jimmy Buffett for him. Thank you for being a part of my childhood Jimmy and for being part of my many musical influences. RIP

I sang this at 11 yrs old for an end of the year talent show in my fifth grade year and I still sometimes had it in my head after that I totally thought this was only a little kid song but I think anyone can sing it or listen to it no matter how old they are
