We made flowers like this in the 70's, if I remember correctly we dipped them in liquid that stuck to the wire to make the petals and leaves. This way looks like fun too. 🌺
You beat me to it. I was born in '64 and distinctly remember my sister had one of those kits in the mid '70s. There were wires that you folded into an oval or round shape, dipped it into a thick, colored liquid, and it dried into an opaque pane of something similar to cellophane. And then there was thick green tape you wrapped the bottom with. I thought of it instantly when I saw the thumbnail for the video.
Seriously, you are so underrated. Your craftsmanship is always top quality. Your art is always stunning and I respect your level of dedication in everything you create. You deserve to be known!!!
Tú trabajo es excelente muy limpio y delicado, felicitaciones, muchas gracias por compartir tu saber hacer, por favor podrías traducir al español, agradezco mucho su atención, cuídense mucho Bendiciones 👍🍀🌞❤️
I tried uv resin because of your videos. I hope I can also try this out someday! The way you make things and the final results are always so dainty and beautiful. ❤
so pretty. i wanna try with acetate sheets. so stunning! i love poppy flowers but know if you cut them and put them in a vase they wilt too quickly. if i make them like this it will last forever.
Instead of cutting out each identical petal, it's easier and faster to buy a flower punch. They're made for card stock paper, but I doubt those thin plastic sheets are hard to punch through. Even just tracing the petal and cutting inside the lines would have been faster than using a box cutter inside that thing. The heat warps the edges anyway, so perfection wasn't needed. Just helpful tips for anyone wanting to make these, as they're probably the most delicate and gorgeous flowers that I've ever seen. Works of art and I'm in love with them!
I also tried flower punch. This is OPP film, not paper, and flower punch will not cut it. OPP film is very thin. It gets stuck in the gap between the blades. It is more fun to make a petal of your choice of heimon than a commercial petal shape.
I will never have the patience to make these myself but I loved seeing your process and it gives me ideas for other things I might do with OP film. Thank you for sharing! 💛☺️
after shaping the petals in the flame, I wonder if a small hole could be pierced in the base of each petal with a hot needle and the flowers assembled by very fine wire?
I use OPP, which is different from PET material, so I don't know more about it.Worbla TranspaArt is PET, right? OPP shrinks at 75-140 degrees Celsius. PET shrinks at 85°C I don't use PET because it is difficult to handle. I don't know about coloring either. Sorry.
I used a mold to make petals of the same die cut shape. Isn't it difficult to cut them into the same shape using scissors? Is there any other better way to do it?

The earrings are very beautiful. Delicate and feminine. I'm curious to know how long it took you in total to make all of the lovely flowers shown.😊❤
It took me a day to make all of them.
@nelconeco I believe it. It looked like an intricate process. They turned out gorgeous, though. 💝💕

Hi! What is the plastic white tube to wrap the wire around called? Thank you!!!!
Spatula for clay☺️
Ooh, one could make bigger ones from Worbla TranspaArt ..oor just use a heat gun and plexiglass? Would alcohol inks work on them or is dye needed?

It's acetate?
Oriented Polypropylene
i really want to try to make petals with acetate sheets but im worried that melting the plastic will be toxic😓
The petals are not burned by candlelight. Just apply heat.
And ventilate.
デザインカッターの方が使いやすくないですか?人差し指が痛くなりそう😢
デザインカッターも使いやすいですね。カッターなのでどちらも沢山カットしてると指が痛くなりますね🥲カッターは疲れます。

Very pretty and lovely, but i do not recommend inhaling fumes of melted plastic. Smoking is less health damaging.
