You are truly inspirational. Many years ago I roamed the mountains of Scotland, but after lots of shoulder surgery, I could no longer carry a rucksack. However, watching your vlogs has encouraged me to get an ultralight tent and equipment, and have started going into the hills locally, as a start. So - so many thanks to you for your honest and raw accounts. Don’t stop!!!
Thank you for your videos, thank you so much for not swearing in any of them, thank you for not posting anything inappropriate in any of them, so that I would not be able to watch, your enthusiasm, your zest for life, and nature, is a wonderful thing to see, thank you.
Finding the balance - pushing yourself to challenge your fear - not pushing yourself to the point of making your fear worse - really honest film without being self obsessed or self critical. Great job, both of getting to the summit and in how you've show that journey here. The moment "boots with no socks, horrible" made me laugh, anyone whoever camped has had that moment, just want to "get out there, get the task done, get back in the tent, forget the socks - cold wet boots on skin YUK!" but we've all done it...you're the first youtuber I've seen show that honest moment. On the basis of this vid, I will subscribe.
You managed to push through your fears, you met good people along the way who encouraged and helped you, you immersed yourself in rugged yet beautiful surroundings and never gave up when things were difficult. This is what it's all about, I doff my hat to you. 👍🤙🙂 *New subscriber...
Funny as hell when you started to swear. It really shows how things effect people in different ways during the same situation. Your admin with the ability to push through when you are wet to dry off in the tent is spot on. I love my NX and with a little practice you certainly can put them up just as good outer first.
my 1st ascent of snowdon was the watkin path about 3 years ago (still aching now :-) ) the most beautiful scenery but it is hard. i'm a 50 yr old unfit man and took me 6 hours, the girl i was with was terrified on the scree slope on the way up and didn't want to go back down that way so we ended up taking the llanberis path down and ended up 25 miles away from the car, which i still remind her off every time i see her haha.
Claire you didnt disappoint as I knew you wouldn't. Your resilience to carry on is a credit to you, many would have turned back, and the smile kept coming even though the weather was a nightmare. Looking forward to part 3, hope the weather improved..
I love watching your videos, honest and really make me feel almost like I'm there. I have fibromyalgia and can't walk very well, just 20 feet is an effort sometimes. Your videos take me on trips, and its great, thank u so much. I especially love forest camping but they are all great ❤
You summited in the weather that is N'Wales being its most Welsh. You got the full immersive experience, and the pleasure of getting out of it. The buzz never feels the same again. Revel in it, and hold it close for decades to come.
I have nothing but absolute admiration for you doing this solo and sharing with us. I love your determination, humour and candidness. You had me laughing at times and then worried, but you did it. That was a fabulous picture at the summit, as well. Great filming as always, Clare. 😊👍
Wow wow wow totally chuffed to bits for you Claire, honestly had a lump in my throat when I seen you make it to the summit, so proud of you you rock wild one, and the editing and music just topped it off, must say it's been my favorite vid I've seen in a long time, thanks for taking us along with you! ❣️🐻 Stay safe
I found a little gold near the waterfall at 17:59,there is a blocked mine tunnel and little Railtrack for the old ore carts, nearby well off the track (I lost the track as it is at times hard to see and found myself scrabbling a bit)it was just lying baking in the sun and rain.. Great filming Claire with truly beautiful results, I love watching your exploits, subbed now..🙏
Just brilliant. Both on getting to the summit but also filming your adventures. The smile on your face when you made it to the top has made my day. When pitching in the wind I always tie a guy to my rucksack - that way if a gust takes it out my hand it's not going too far with a rucksack in tow. I do the same when taking the tent down. Thanks again and stay safe.
God bless your brave heart! The expression on your face on Snowdon's Summit is priceless...the look of victory, conquering your fears!. With all of your hiking gear and glorious smile, your truly are a Mountain Warrior!
Favorite moment was when you said it was insane, then couldn’t help smiling. I’d bet, once you’re home, you’ll look back and decide that you wouldn’t want any part of the trip any different-even the scree, the rain, the wind. Lots of wonderful lessons on such a trip, but you’ve nailed the hardest one of all: smiling even in the face of adversity. Thank you for bringing us along!
I love outdoorsy people, never met a wrong'un yet. Always willing to help and encourage. Well done Claire, as usual epic video and you capture the emotion so well.
OMG!!! That smile on your face says it all. Your smile is almost as beautiful as the scenery from the top. You did it!!!!! Your amazing Wildbeare and I believe after this you can do absolutely anything. Brightest Blessings to you. Keep smiling for it to makes me smile and warms my heart 💜
I like the fact that you are willing to admit that you were afraid. Being willing to turn back is really important. I'm happy you didn't have to, but I'm also happy that you don't feel not summiting is a failure. Can't wait for part 3🙂
Others have mentioned your filming but it is truly very good and the range of shots is exceptional. Your patience and persistence are to be applauded as you practically have to climb the mountains 3 times setting up shots and then retrieving equipment. I would struggle with the patience to do it once!! Well done and having found your channel I have found myself absorbed in your adventures and they do inspire me to get out more. Awesome
Well done Claire. That's some achievement and you definitely pushed yourself but still managed to keep smiling. Your Welsh mountain videos are inspiring. ATB, John.
Claire you are an absolute legend and inspiration. The Watkins is a great achievement. Massive well done in facing your fears and conquering them. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Haha yeh, it was worse when I was pitching it up again that evening, took off even with the corners pegged in 😬 wasn't filming, typically! Yeh I met some great people :) actually I always meet awesome people on mountains. Thanks for watching :D
Agree with everyone here. Just BRILLIANT! An honest diary of what it takes to summit via the Watkins Path. And getting help on mountains is so wonderful as you got to achieve your goal and they would have been chuffed (I would have been) to help a fellow mountaineer achieve the summit. And I loved it that you take the sensible decisions when the weather is against you! nice one 😎
" Mountain people are awesome..." - Yes, yes you are! Well done. Made me want to do it again, so it's time for me to plan a trip. Thanks for the inspiration.
Please keep safe wild one, you will always know your boundaries and move as you feel the moment arrives 😊. Your call and so very humbled and entertaining...thank you for sharing a life in the natural world 🌎 😀
After motorcycle/camping in February in Beddgelert from Scotland every year for over 24 years, two of us climbed Snowdon one Feb years ago in believe it or not over 20degrees, up past the old mine workings, then after the summit along the ridge walk then back down. The hill was like Piccadilly Circus with people that day with the incredible unseasonal weather !! So well done for doing it in the rain !👍
Brilliant achievement in variable weather conditions and on a treacherous and slippery route. 11/10 for tenacity and perseverance. Well done Claire ✋😷🏕🇲🇾
I have been to the top of Snowden but I am ashamed to say that I caught the train up there!🙈 But You are very inspiring and I feel that I should do properly this year...
Well done on getting to the summit, I did it back in 2018, wanted to walk up Snowdon before I turned 40, did it up the Llanberis Path (the easy one!) 2 weeks before my 40th! Shamefully for someone who lives in North Wales this was my first time walking up Snowdon , but I do plan to do it again with friends this year! Great channel, love it.
Thank you Mark :) Ahh that's great, I've not done Llanberis, have a great time this summer! It's such a beautiful mountain, Snowdon was my first mountain actually. I went up by Miners at night and watched the sunrise at the summit, I fell in love with it on that day 💚 Have a lovely week! Claire 🌿🐻
Hugely impressed, you never gave up when others would have. An inspiration to so many others... I need to dust off my tent and get solo hiking and exploring... Enjoying your smile and enthusiasm
climbing with that pack on is no joke with the weight/balance issues it presents, watkin is 3 points of contact at all times in places and a slip could see you slide a very long way, well done for being safe and having the guts to say not today, but even more so for making that final push!! good job!
Well done - that is a hard path and crap weather never makes anything easier! Congratulations for persevering as the sense of achievement is always worthwhile. Well done again 👏👍
It's so nice to see you didn't let your ego get in your way - if it doesn't feel right, it just isn't, even if 10 guys say it's ok. Kudos to you for stopping when you did, ignoring the "need" to get up there. And when the books say "don't carry more than 30% of your weight" they're no talking about mountains! :)
I had to pause at 9:40... I couldn't focus because of the tears in my eyes. When I did Snowdon I took the rangers path (which was amazing in itself) whilst my mate took the same route as you. We knew the terrain and I didn't want my fear of heights to ruin his experience. Anyways, we joined up at the top and that was great. You did great and the next time I come to the UK and do Snowdon I'm going to go for it!!! When I find myself paralyzed, clinging to the side I will think of your journey and your smile when you made it. Merci d'avance 😁
You have my subscription miss, totally amazing, stellar effort to do that on your own, young woman on the mountains, not patronising you at all, it just takes bottle to do that, and your passion and cheeky smile are infectious. Well done. Best wishes Andre x
you're brave, I'm afraid of heights myself so I can relate. well done and thanks for reminding me of the kindness of people. your channel is a joy to watch.

I love your videos so much! I always enjoy them but this one has been my absolute favourite so far. I even had a bit of a (happy) cry when you made the summit and then when you were talking about the amazing people that helped you off the scree. Thank you for videos that cheer me on gloomy days or create moments of calm in hectic weeks! Xoxo 🍃
Well done Claire Beare, It just goes to show that failure cannot live with persistence. You showed amazing reslience in overcoming your fears. Give yourself a big pat on the back. Well done you have my admiration. Mick.😤👊👍

Watkins is a seriously challenging path, especially with a big rucksack on your back. Awesome achievement reaching the summit 🤩 shame the weather was so crappy but a good around experience for future adventures x
Hi Rachel, thanks yehh I mean I knew it was gonna be hard, but it was so much harder than what I had imagined in my head 😄 I'm excited to do it again though now that I know what to expect. With a much smaller & lighter rucksack haha. Thanks so much for watching 💜
Your videos are fantastic! Really enjoyable to watch.... Thanks to your inspiration I am heading out for the first time for an overnight camp with my 7 year old daughter this weekend - not up mountains though, just the local woods :)
Fantastic well done. First time I went up Snowdon I was in the army and we went up it February. It was covered in snow and really windy. We carried large packs. We nearly lost one of the guys on the way down. Wind court him under his pack and nearly lobbed him off the mountain. Only his quick thinking the use his ice axe saved his life.
Brilliant - it is great to see you are honest with perceived limitations but also great to see when you have no limitations. You are a delight in commentary and adventure. I can almost smell the landscape and hear that distinctive sound of the tent zip.
Wow, what a rugged landscape. So cool that you completed the climb. A good lesson safely learned with the help of hiker folks. Something to consider for next time is to set up base camp close to where you are summiting, take essential gear, and scramble! Less risk of getting hurt. Cheers, job well done!
I really love this video out of all I’ve seen so far. (I love them all) It’s real and raw. I’ve been in similar situations in life and was lucky enough to have what I’d call guardians come to my aid. The views you provide are always beautiful but in this video we also get to experience the beauty of human camaraderie. Normally, I’m like you. I prefer when nobody is around but sometimes it’s really good when people are. I’m so glad you shared your struggles along with the easy bits. Well done! Thank you for taking us along with you!
You will never forget this adventure. Overcoming adverse conditions, challenging terrain and personal fears is so very rewarding and only makes you stronger. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Fabulous.! Well done. That’s not an easy assent but it’s such a great thrill when you finally summit. Well done for carrying on. Looking forward to the next instalment. Stay safe.👍
Lovely video and so pleased you pushed yourself to the summit “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go” TS Elliot
I appreciate your adventures in the Field..... extremely well done and interesting for those of us who like the great outdoors yet are no longer in a position to camp at the moment. Time pretty much complete....XArmy
From an old man in Doncaster, brilliant vid showing huge determination. I'm inspired. I'm more into mountain biking, and am aware that now the summer is here, I need to get ou and pedal. True inspiration here. Thank you dear heart xxx
Another great video Claire... Fare play to you for taking on these challenges.. for getting out there.. and for taking us with you.. You're doing an amazing job with your channel.. Thank you.. keep up the good work.. 😀👍🏻
8 times up Snowdon 5 times via Watkins last time for my 60th it never gets any easier but what a great thrill, get out and enjoy life

What a wonderful story of strangers helping each other, I love that the help of a small stone resulted in such a tremendous personal achievement.
Seing you up there actually made me cry. You are an inspiration for so many people suffering from anxiety, just like Abbie Barnes. Thank you so much.
We walked up Watkins path as kids with our parents. A day i will never forget. A very fond memory.

Claire, thank you for sharing this amazing and beautiful journey. Making it to the summit was a awesome job. Thank you for sharing
