We live in a world that is very fear driven, and it seems this has been even more amplified in the last few years. I believe that being a Mother, where we are so in tune with our children and their well being, makes us more susceptible to fear and anxiety. This topic has been on my mind a lot lately, so join me on my front porch and lets have a chat and see if we can encourage each other.

I LOVED this video. I mean I always enjoy your content, but this video - it's like you had been living in my head, because a lot of what you said has been exactly what my thoughts are of late. I've had a lot of talks with Heavenly Father this year, and I've decided that I will pay extra attention to the little hints and directions He's been giving me this year so far, even if they don't quite make sense to me at the exact moment they happen, but I won't fear and I won't let my anxiety of not knowing the exact next step take over me, and it's been interesting, but my heart is at peace. Thank you for being a beautiful soul and sharing your life.

Jeannine, before I was saved, my husband and I were living in blissful ignorance. Then, one day, Jim's sister showed him some info about some conspiracy theory and our lives were turned upside down. I didn't know anything about the Bible or God, so it was scary for me. We started campaigning for a third-party candidate (1992) and this guy was not a Christian, but he sometimes would point to a verse or two in the Bible and link them to what was going on in the government and in the world. Even though neither he nor I were believers, it was something God used to pique my interest in God, the Bible, and the future.
God saved me 5 years later and, at that point, I was already interested in Bible prophecy, so once I was a Christian, it all fell into place. I could finally read the Bible and understand it, especially prophecy. Now, however, I can (by the grace of God) keep it all in perspective. I love Bible prophecy. Did you know that in Paul's 13 epistles, he refers to the Second Coming over 80 times? It is the Second Coming that God has put in front of us to spur us to love, service, and worship. As you pointed out, I don't have to know the day or the hour. His coming is imminent, which is what should keep us looking to Him for all things at all times.
Even though I disagree with you on some things (I'm Calvinistic and pre-Trib and believe in a literal 1000 year earthly Kingdom to come), I still appreciate your thoughts. There is no reason for the Christian to live in fear. May God continue to mold us and shape us, conforming us to the image of Christ, so that there is no room in our hearts and minds for fear of this world. Fear God, not man.

Great conversation Jeannine, and just a thought on parenting as we should also do our job responsibly. For example if we are praying to protect our children from evil, but providing them with free internet access at age of 10, when their brains are not even mature enough to differentiate a pure evil, than it’s all on us. It’s much easier just to give them a phone, iPad, cable TV so they can do their “homework”, entertain themselves and leave us alone, it can be a high price to pay later. Blessings 🙏🌺🌼🌸

You are so right about fear! We’re so prone to it and we are being sold it just about everywhere. And the evil one makes good use of it, to steal our peace of mind and to take our focus away from what’s really important and from our duty’s.
We need to be reminded that Christ has already won, he is already victorious, and satan and death has been conquered.
I was just reading the other day in John 14 “Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me”. Such a beautiful reminder to put our trust in God and to know that through his providence he cares for us.

Jeannie, this is by far my most favorite video yet. I agree with a lot of what you said. My view on the Rapture is different; I believe we will be raptured before the tribulation, 'He will save us from the hour of God's wrath'. And, yes, the word rapture is not in the Bible, but the phrase, 'will be caught up' is, which I believe in Greek means rapture. Thank you so, so much for sharing with us today ❤
My view on the tribulation is the same as yours. Also I know many messianic Jewish in Israel who study the word in depth who have really cemented my belief
I agree with you too about the rapture before tribulation. Jesus wouldn't let His children go threw the events in Revolation if we are in Christ.
I agree with you. May I add that in Greek, the word is "harpazo," which means "a snatching away," but in Latin, the word is "rapio," from which we get "rapture."

I started watching this video with some trepidation, for some of the reasons you were speaking on. You just never know what people are going to come up with these days. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised. Somebody online speaking so much truth and sanity for once 😂. Yes everybody is entitled to their opinions and thoughts and of course there are corruptions and conspiracies. Yet, not a single one of us knows much of anything, especially in comparison to the knowledge of the Lord. We create so much fear trying to know everything, things we're not even capable of knowing. That only ever ends in chaos. Give it to the Lord, trust in His wisdom, love one another... That's all we need to know, really.

I am so grateful that you did this video. I am saving this one. I've been so touched by this. I've been going through a lot lately. I spent December in the hospital and my heart failure got real bad. I've been bed bound for the last 5 months because I can't get the physical therapy that I need and I think I've been starting to go down one of those rabbit holes. That click bait can get you real quick. Please keep me in your prayers. Please pray for my husband, he's watching news all the time and TV shows at night that have a lot of cussing. I don't watch TV, I have my headphones on and watch RUclips. I can't thank you enough for doing this wonderful video, it really was a blessing and has made me think. Love you. I have been reflecting on these things also and being grateful to God for keeping me and my daughter safe. It has been really noisy on social media and a lot of it is just distracting... What we see too much of is people with agendas and very few who actually point to Christ.
I know I am not perfect myself but when it comes to social media and how I behave around others, it's very important to me that I be a good steward for Christ.
I have been fearing a lot of things lately and anxiety has been pricking me. I've been feeling this need to dig into His Word and prayer lately though but it is so busy and noisy I keep losing focus.
I needed this video as a reminder and encouragement to where I feel I need to focus spiritually.

Sadly, I believe that gov. is were they get their nose were it doesn't belong, yet what the gov is supposed to do is definitely not doing.

I read your comment and just had to reply to it. In the last period of my walk in faith, I have had so much comfort, in REALLY feeling the Peace of God. The one that in Hebrew has the word Shalom. The one mentioned in Phil 4:7.
Phil 4:7 (NIV 1984)
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I want so much that this Peace will now surround you, so that you can let go of the fear and anxiety that you are struggling with. That you can find peace to be done with the grief. You will probably ALWAYS have the feeling of LOSS, here in this life, but the grief will let go, if you don't also work on the other things.
I lost my mother in 2004. It took 3 years before I was able to let go of the grief, and sort of start "living again"... Yes, I felt pretty broken for a while. So you're probably still dealing with your mother's passing.
But when it came to a heavier moment for me, a couple of years ago. And I needed to trust God, but somehow couldn't quite do it. Then I got this verse Isa 41:10.
Isa 41:10 (NIV 1984)
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
After receiving this verse, I received the question from God... "Or, Am I your God?..."...
This put me off a bit, I remember... but I saw a bit of the problem, that I didn't trust Father, as the almighty He is.
After this, I have felt better in tough times, but even then I have to remind myself to TRUST Father some times, who is with me.
So do one thing now, trust God, and with God's Shalom, lay aside your fear.

I fall into fear so often over so many things, and I remember in 2020-2021 I was so wrapped up in the news that it was just like a dark cloud hung over my life. I finally stopped listening to the news because I figured I can't change the government and world and its making me miserable to hear this stuff. And honestly, Its just been so free-ing since I stopped keeping up with everything- real or made up😅
I still struggle with fear tho. Fear of things in my everyday life. And it seems like the Lord just keeps trying to get me to see that I need to let those things go and let Him "worry" about them for me.
Even this video today... there have been some fears that have been nagging at me for several days and I believe the Lord let me come across this video today because it's what I needed to hear.

First Thes. 5:18 always angered me (Why would God want me to be thankful that horrible awful things are happening) until I realized that it says be thankful IN all situations, not FOR all situations. I don't think that is stressed enough when people quote this verse. There is such a huge difference in those two sentences! For example, my sister was hit by a car and it shattered the lower half of her body. I will never be thankful FOR that situation but WITHIN that horrible situation, I was thankful that she had friends with her that could call the ambulance, that her husband had postponed going out of town till the next day, that on a whim my mom had decided to travel the 4 hours to be at her house for the weekend so she was there with my niece and nephews...

Recently our minister did a sermon on this very subject.That to hate other races, religions,cultures is of the devil and Jesus taught us to love , not hate.Even just disliking someone is still a minor type of hate.

Hi Jeannine this is a great video! Lots and lots of touchy topics you discussed them BODLY! most of them I agree with you on and some not but hey that's okay we are all different and all have different understandings and that's how God made us! The important part of ALL this is this,
To love the Lord with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind. And to love your neighbore as your self. To be a born again Christian and to be ready to be with the Lord. To know the truth and be in the Word. God doesn't want us to be in fear on any level!
I needed this reminder my self because me and my husband have been struggling financially these past few months when we had to both get new vehicles and finance them due to my durabgo being in a accident and totaled. And my husband's trucks engine went our after him completely replacing the engine a year ago its the truck not engines.
So we added an extra 1.5k to our monthly bills with higher insurance etc.
Well I am a stay at home mama and I have zero skills. I can't make nothing to sell. So I've been over welmed. I want to help my husband out tremendously I just don't know how yet. I also know my time is most important raising our kids and being a home maker.
I've had fear within just that. So thank you for these reminders!

I have 2 as well my oldest at 8 and youngest at 2. I so long for a other child even during this crazy world. I know God will make way and keep us close to Him and we carry on day to day. We have to keep building God's Kingdom and not give foot to the devil of lies.

I needed to hear this I used fear for 20 years of my adult life and not had my own children. I feared how the state of the world was and has become. I ache for having a family and have house full of little ones.
I am starting over with my life and worry and fear less and help others that has children and welcome children in our home soon.

I agree with your opinion on fear. I don’t watch the news now because I consider 99% they say are lies. They play on people’s feelings, not so great morals and fears! Women can overcome fears and questions if they pray to God and give it to him to and wait upon Jesus to lead you through it. Love your comments!

Fear is rampant and it’s to the point even commercials on tv are spreading it. Stating we need so many different products just to get us through the day.
I’ve chosen to have a brief few minutes on tv concerning the news and weather then cut it off.
I’m choosing to spend my morning in God’s word, then focusing on how I can be a blessing to some people the rest of the day.
I am more strict with my RUclips viewing, and have dropped many homestead channels. As you stated, we can stock up but when those around us know we have a stash, they will find a way to take it. I’m prepared to a point but no longer stocked as I was.

Yes and being thankful of our health. Seeing, walking. I was in ophthalmology and I’m still in awe of how God created our bodies. The eye, total awestruck.
Walking…. I recently fell and tore my knee up. I’m older that’s you and now I do walk with more caution to the point of fearing I’ll fall again. I do wonder if the younger people appreciate walking with ease. A torn ACL and Meniscus can sidetrack in an instant. We older folks don’t heal as quickly.
So much to be thankful for even when we are going through a trial. A toilet, running water, a working refrigerator, electricity, so much we take granted of.
You've really brought out things people forget when it comes to God. When it's our time for God calls us home,there's nothing to stop it. We are not to worry God tells us to pray and trust God in all things. Amen God will never forsake us.
