you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@@maddiej2748 Thanks... Next time I head out there I'll keep an eye out... It's hard to get good vegan options if you don't know where to go when you're out of town lol
If you want to that classic McDonald’s chicken nuggets, try Gardein’s orange chicken. It comes with a sauce but when you don’t add it, it tastes just like chicken nuggets
I like them alright! I was sad they weren't quite as much a gardein knockoff as the packaging suggested, but the breading is tasty and crisps up rly well :)
I never knew 'till I saw Vegan Zombie's sister rave about them on one of his videos. I went to Aldi and got a box of the Earth Grown vegan chik'n nuggets. OH DANG!!! I love how they are so flavorful, crunchy, and a little greasy, just like the good ol' days when I could have the real thing!
Morningstar popcorn chicken and Gardein Nashville Hot Tenders are my absolute favorites. The air fryer makes them sooo crispy in less than 10 mins too. 😭
if you ever find morning star nuggets again, try the spicy version if its available! They have the flavor I think yall were missing when you tried the plain ones xD those and gardein are the most available where I am, I've never run into alpha foods or a lot of the others in this video! Also, Yves, I think is a Canadian brand, but I found a HUGE package of their nuggets at Costco in Minnesota and I think they're pea protein based! I thought they were pretty good when I tried them with my friend's family. Pizza sounds good for a video like this, and a slight bit less involved than burgers xD
Yeh I love the Morningstar spicy vegan nuggets!!! Wondering why not all their products are vegan, I emailed the company and they told me they are transitioning to be fully-vegan very soon, like within a year!!
You said "nuggets are nostalgic". I'll never forget being 5 and sharing chicken nuggets with my dad in the car parked behind McD's overlooking a field with migrating birds!!!!
Rebecca I am so proud of you and all the growth of your channel this last year. I know we have never met but I feel like we are friends hope that doesn’t sound weird. Much love 💕
I've only ever tried the (now) vegan Morning Star nuggets. They're good. Only the flavor is on the outside coating, not really all the way through the actual insides. The upside to that, i have made a pretty convincing Filet O' Fish sammich using said nuggets. I get a good quality plain white burger buns, toast them ever slightly with some vegan butter. I bake the nuggets for 35 to 40 minutes, i then place the piping hot nuggets onto the toasted buns, top them with some vegan American, or cheddar cheese slices that are room temperature, then i spread a GENEROUS amount of my homemade vegan Tartar sauce on the other piece of toasted bun, and a sprinkling of nori flakes, then i wrap the entire sandwich up tightly* in cling wrap, and let it rest for around 5 to 10 minutes to let the super hot, oven fresh nuggets cool down a bit. Wrapping the sandwich up is key, along with letting the nuggets cool off a bit as to not burn your palate, it gets the cheese really melted, much like the Mcdonald's Filet O' Fish sandwiches were before i use to inhale them from their sandwich box.
I burst out laughing at your facial expression when you tried the trader joes tenders haha. Also I'd been missing out on Alpha foods, I recently tried their chick'n patties and they are really good! I also got one of their burritos (steak less ranchero) and I immediately wished I got more.
quorn nuggets were my go to for the LONGEST, but I recently tried the incogmeato nuggets and they really are the best ones I’ve had in my five years of being vegetarian
There is another plant based nugget sold primarily in Whole Foods Quorn. It’s personally my favorite vegan nugget brand. Definitely worth a try Rebecca!!
I feel like the trader Joe's chik'n mandarin orange chicken is more like a nugget than the tenders. It has a different texture and it's very delicious even without the sauce
I remember both the Boca and MorningStar Farms nuggets. That was a very accurate assessment on the Boca. The MorningStar Farms tastes like coating covered white rice if I remember correctly. LOL The MorningStar Farms flavor, was nonexistent!😩😂
The alpha nuggets taste the most chickeny to me. I think it’s definitely my favorite because it has the most flavor and is crispy. I’m on board with a vegan burger video!
I've had those chicken thingys from Trader Joes and I can agree that they taste awful! LOL. When I saw you bring out the bag I was like "Don't do it Rebecca!!"
@@NatalieWisler no idea. I didn’t have time to stop and just always get Quorn ones because I have a soy allergy so I didn’t want to be sad when they are probably made of soy 🥺 lol
I definitely know what you mean about May Wah and vegsn chinese takeout! I still have not found the Alpha foods brand nuggs. My kids love the morning star farms and the 365 meatless chkn nuggets from whole foods.
Cute hair cut!! Careful with morning star they have always used egg whites! I thought I was vegan for two years until I finally checked the back look at the ingredients!! Now I read everything!!
You've convinced me to grab the Alpha nuggets next time I'm at Sprouts. I already love their chick'n patties and have been wanting to try the nuggets. Now I just need someone to make restaurant style chick'n fingers that are thick and crispy. I ate chicken fingers way more as kid then nuggets.
Thank you, Rebecca! We agree! Of all the chick'n nuggets we've tried, Alpha Foods comes out on top. Gardein was our favorite before Alpha hit the market. And the Alpha chick'n patties make a very tasty chick'n sandwich on a toasted torta bun with lettuce, tomato and mayo, too. There are so many mushy nuggets to find in the choosing. We really appreciate your selflessly tasting them for us. Thanks again! P.S. On another note, we've seen that Beyond Meat is making a link breakfast sausage (like little weiners), but we haven't found them in our local PHX markets yet. Have you seen them in NYC?
Thank you so much for another awesome review! I've recently heard about the 'daring' chicken products and had high expectations, so I'm kinda surprised that their nuggets didn't rate the highest in your taste test. Keep up the good work! :-)
Perhaps the Trader Joes tenders may have been thawed before an employee correctly placed where it belongs or maybe it was super frozen that caused the texture to soften!
gardein tenders has always been my go to, totally agree with alpha being just as good as gardein, my other favs would be incogmeato nuggets by morningstar which comes in regular and mickey mouse shape, also really into yummy dino buddies
Great vegan nuggets video Rebecca and gardein products are available in the UK through Sainsbury but unfortunately my nearest supermarket/retailer isn't a Sainsbury. I would have to depend on a delivery service from Sainsbury and unfortunately delivery slots can be taken quickly due to the time of year and the pandemic.
I like the Gardein nuggets more than the tenders and also the Whole Foods 365 nuggets are really good. The Alpha Foods is good too. I thought the Nuggs was OK, but I didn't try the others you had. I often mix them with Buffalo sauce so that sure helps.
my favorites are definitely gardein and nuggs. i find that nuggs are the perfect fast food nugget, they’re soo crispy which i love, and with ketchup they’re perfect! i also really love the morning star popcorn chikn, i hate the texture of their nuggets though
Very helpful, thanks for doing this! Have you ever tried Quorn Meatless Nuggets? I really like Quorn's "Chicken" patties, so I figure the nuggets have got to be good too...
Quorn is my fav fake chicken. It's now the only one I buy. I'm vegetarian not vegan so I can eat their products that contain eggs. My sister turns their naked cutlets into like kfc style fried chicken and it's incredible.

I had the Trader Joe's nuggets years ago. Unfortunately, it sounds like the quality has gone down. I will look for a few of the brands you mentioned here in UK.

At Walmart they have Mickey Mouse shaped plant based nuggets. I believe the brand is incogmeato. The little ones love them!
