My hats off to you ,travelling to Macon Missouri. I'm a delivery driver out of Kansas City and had to travel to Kirksville through Macon last week. It's a heckuva long drive just from Kansas City. It must be close to 14 hours roundtrip from Wichita. I swear you could see Sasquatch in some of those thick woods between Macon and Kirksville.

Great indoor auction with lots of nice cars, trucks and motor bikes. My favourite was the 1972 Sedan deVille. Also liked the '71 Hornet as I have a soft spot for AMC. I would have liked the '09 Challenger if it was equipped with a 6 cylinder, not a performance buff.

The old paper maps are cool. Several years ago, I was buying quite a few like these that were mostly all prior to 1960. I like that time frame because
the maps were just starting to show the construction of the Interstate Highway system. It was interesting to see what the roads looked like before the
interstates were put in place. My collection has been tucked away (along with a bunch of old T.V. Guide magazines) in storage - maybe someday I will
pull them out to look them over......or, when I pass away, someone will find them again in an auction of my old stuff.

At the time stamp of 49:02, your brochure of this car shown was a rig that Brent from halfass kustoms did a chop on it. At the time he had brought it back, I was just horrified at his wanting to chop the top by four inches! NO, DON'T DO IT I SCREAMED! So when he chopped it four inches, I was sick to my stomach but when done.....Lord howdy..... it turned out beautiful and it looked like they should all of been done this way as it just made it where the top was still way good for your tallest person that may drive it. All said and done, I still don't care for chopped tops on most rigs, this is the exception... check out some of his videos on it Tim and you just might agree.. it did not, repeat again, DID NOT LOOK like a chop, as it just made it look so darn nice! I know that you know him, possibly met him and so know its the right thing to do at or on some vehicles.

I fully understand that late model cars aren't in Mr. Goodplier 's focus nor that of many of the great subscribers to his channel. However, a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT (6.1L) with a salvage title due to it being a repo from an unpaid debt and no record of damage...for $9,500? I don't believe one can buy that much muscle for that low amount anywhere anymore. I'm going to have to start watching for more of these auctions if they are giving away these particular cars.

Some cars sold strong, but many went under value: The 1951 Chevy truck for example. The Hornet sedan would make a perfect first vehicle for a teenager. Four doors make it easy to bring some friends along. And if maintained well it will not loose any value.
