On the lipstick it will help the integrity of the lipstick when it's added back to the component if, when possible, it's overfilled a little in the mould to keep it from forming the little dip at the top while drying. The dip will cause it to crumble and break when it is used.
But it really only applies if they are being reused lol if they aren't being reused then it's perfect 😊

Why do they keep on ruining blue makeup?
probably because they don't use blue lipsticks/lip gloss???? And because of that they mix the colors to make purplish/reddish lipstick/lip gloss, not ruining? Not trying to be mean, but "ruining" is a bit of a harsh word for mixing. (srry for mistakes, if I did any, not native english speaker.)

70% isopropyl alcohol is the most effective concentration of alcohol for disinfecting surfaces, according to the CDC.
