I admire Jerry Moffatt for his skills, for his routs and all he has done for our sport. However, to talk like he is the creater of the campus board is just shabby. In my personal opinion he doesn't do justice to Wolfgang Güllich. I'm really upset how he talks about another climbing legends. What a shame!
Jerry is joking about the campus board, he is making fun of himself by being over arrogant 'before me, people struggled to do a single pullup' - I think the humour is lost in translation. I recommend you read Jerry's book 'Revelations', he has nothing but love and respect for Wolfgang and Kurt, it's quite emotional.
I agree with Blake, you have misunderstood his comments which is easy with English dry humour. He really does love climbing and all that goes with it, full stop

I have heard Jerry praise Wofgang Gullich many times. The internet video is only a snapshot of a very short time slot.
