So you cannot change to dual motor mode while you are riding the Phantom? I need to know because the current scooter I ride, I always change on the fly if I need the extra boost or off to save battery. I thought I saw a video with someone saying not to change it while riding because it can throw you off the scooter. Kind of nervous to try now.
Thanks Apollo for all the videos, you guys are the best👌I'm a proud Hydraulic Phantom V2 owner and I'm loving it 200%, an incredible machine all the way 🔥 I'm just wondering, do you guys plan to do a video about the brake maintenance for those who got the Hydraulic versions? It would be very appreciated, thanks 🙏
Hi there, thank you for the kind words! We do actually have a brake adjustment video for the hydraulic brakes! You can check out our previous live video here: ruclips.net/video/2N7eN_tuVjY/видео.html It's being demonstrated on one of our older scooter models, but the process should still be the same if you have the same brand of hydraulic brakes! We will be adding more how-to's soon :-)
@@ApolloScooters can we have a higher quality video for the hydraulic brake replacement for the apollo phantom, hard to see what screws he is removing.
My Apollo ghost isn’t working properly. I took it out of the box and when I drove it for 4 miles the rear motor started giving up on me. sometimes the rear motor completely dies on me so I have to use dual motor mode to actually use it and the rear motor overheats way to much please help how I can fix this
Hey Julio, It really depends on your riding habits, some can go thousands of KM's without ever changing their pads and others will change them every couple hundred KMs. If you notice your braking power begin to weaken or if you inspect the pads and see that the braking material is fairly worn down, it is good time to consider changing pads!
I'm having an awful experience trying to swap my warped rotor with the replacement sent to me from Apollo. (Both my rotors came warped) 3 hours in, and I still cannot fit the bracket back with the washers. This is a highly stressful and horrible experience as I follow along what appears to be a straight foward video. HELP ME APOLLO
Hey there, We're sorry to learn of your difficulty getting your unit reassembled after replacing the brake rotor. If you still need assistance with this, please reach out to our support team with some images of where you are in the process. The team will be glad to help walk you through the steps to take to get the unit up and running!
I had the same issue. Got frustrated, took it apart to take a video and after putting it back together I figured out a remedy. Document your issue first, in case you break something. All I did was (fully assembled) sat the scooter up on a stand so the wheels will spin freely. Spun them by hand slowly while looking down into the calipers. Once I noticed which side it was rubbing against, I took my skinny ratchet and used it to bend the rotor in the opposite direction. After working the bends out for about 15 minutes I could spin the wheel without the rotor touching the pads. Now it’s back to normal. I’m sure that’s not a cure for the problem and it will probably come back. But since they’re junk, I took a risk and it worked. Now mine are silent and I use regenerative braking as much as possible.
this is me right now. Front brake rotor replaced and came off with 2 washer shims on one side and only the fender on the other. I have no idea how they fit on to begin with but i cant put the assembly back with the two on one side above the disc, I can only fit 1. EDIT: Solved! For the front rotor with the two washers on the single side sitting beside the disc, I loosened the 19mm nut that holds the fork on that side, then also loosened the upper 17mm nut that holds the upper shock just enough to wiggle the fender + motor/tire + TWO WASHERS inside the forks. Once the front wheel assembly is complete with lock washer (?) and nut, you can go back and secure the shock and front fork. For the record, those nuts only need to be loosened slightly, but do not remove the 17mm or 19mm nuts. Hope that helps somebody!
Great vid! Just wondering, what is the metal shim coming with the pads for?
Do you have a video on replacing brake handle on the phantom v2?

You need to ride below 10 mph to be able to switch to a sport mode.
@@czaplinPL thanks!
@@L0L247 My pleasure!
What are the symptoms for when only the pads need replacing, only the disk, and both?

Hmm. I cant get my caliper back over the disk. Seems like the pads are already almost touching and i cant fit them around the disk.

What's an average km to change your brake pads...I'm at 1200km
