Marcel, Game and Watch can only catch ENERGY BASED projectiles, like Lucario's Aura Sphere and Mario's fire balls, but he reflects MATERIAL BASED projectiles, like Link's arrows and Dr. Mario's pills.
This is the second or third video I've heard him complaining about this, and he still doesn't get it. DO SOME RESEARCH, MARCEL!

Basically, the bucket only absorbs Energy-Based Projectiles, such as Samus' Charge Shot, or Pikachu's Thunder Jolt. Link's arrows and I guess Dr.Mario's pills are physical projectiles.

Marcel, if you don't want to get juggled in the air, just air dodge right before they hit you so you can land safely. Air dodge is to press the shield button in the air.

Basically, Game & Watch can only catch ENERGY based projectiles, like fire, megaman's charged shots, samus plasma pistol and charged shots, and so on. things like bombs, pills, arrows and such get reflected.
In order to steal projectiles with G&W, it need to be a type of matter like mario's fireball, fox's laser, Samus's charge blast, etc etc.
I actually stood up and yelled when Ash and Marcel won, that’s a true heroic story right there

G&W's bucket can only catch explosive, energy-based, or elemental projectiles (such as Ness/Lucas' PK Thunder or Bowser's flame breath). Everything else just gets sent back at the attacker. That's why you weren't absorbing Link's arrow shots.

Hey marcel the bucket works as follows:
If you perfect cast right as a projectile hits the bucket it will absorb it and then you will be able to recast with 3 absorbed projectiles to spill the bucket. If a late cast then the bucket will only deflect the projectile. Hope this helps!

For those who don’t know sonic’s neutral B actually has a lock on. You can see a reticle appear on said target for a few seconds. And if there isn’t anyone close by it’ll just go in a random direction(I.e. off the edge). So be careful where you homing attack.

Note about Mr. Game and Watch: The bucket only catches certain projectiles and/or explosions (for example, Link's bomb exploding would fill it some, as would Mario's fireballs). It reflects shit otherwise.
