Brilliant use of the tag.
Love that technique on how to splay the tail.
@@cedricporter86 I do not care.
Thank you for all the information, it's a big help for me as I'm just starting out tying flies. You make it look easy with attention to details.
Fantastic looking fly! Well tied!
🎣
I love these videos please continue to make more
Nice tie Tim and one I’ll have a go at. Thank you.
I agree,cool technique on doing the tail!
Great video and I will definitely try out the technique for tying the tail this week. I’ve been substituting a foam loop for the CDC with good results. Fished at the end of a rig with a bead head or just another midge imitation with one or two small shot, the foam causes the fly to rise up in the water column as a fish would expect to encounter an emerging midge.
Looks good, I need to tie a dozen or so
What are the advantages of using the straight eye hook as opposed to standard dry fly hook, in general and specifically with this pattern?
you still use cdc for the wing if you fish it as a nymph.......or use z-lon etc?
Tim, can you do a video on a coffin fly pattern?
whats the music playing in the background
Best tying videos I have ever watched love your content. In the market for a new vise can you do a video on vise pros and cons cost and effectiveness. Thanks, Or send me one I’m sure you have many lol
Kelly Galloup did a video on vises. Here's the first of two on the subject: ruclips.net/video/f4-ogE-5GZY/видео.html
Great technique Tim. The segmented look of the body looks great. Going to try this soon. Can the RS2 be used as a wet and dry fly?
You probably dont care at all but does any of you know a tool to log back into an instagram account??
I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Anakin Valentin instablaster :)
@Maxton Fletcher I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm.
Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Maxton Fletcher it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
@Anakin Valentin No problem xD
Another one that I can’t keep in my box in Compton’s cinnamon toast. Sucker is deadly
If you dont have cdc and may never use it again, what other winging materials would you consider?
pete langevin ep fibre, calf tail etc. Why would you never use cdc again?
Don’t tie enough trout flies to justify buying cdc.
RS2 again?
I hot to sit with Rim and tie these and other fly it was fun. His secret was he was an andler.
I use CDL for the tail...much easier.
Never seen someone use so many tools. Nice fly though.
I usually like your videos. This video took a very simple pattern to tie and made it more complicated than need be.
I like it cuz it looks like a bug.
I like your techniques Tim but Rim's original tie which includes a darker thorax is preferred and more realistic
What is this “take wraps...?”
Not the English language that I was taught.
