Agree with others, great examples, and well demonstrated knowledge transfer…I have been tying for 30 years and still learning from the best…thanks for the content in the applied demonstrations!

If you had made two or more 360 degree wraps of thread on your 1/2 hitch tool at once and then let it slip off the tool to secure the thread on the parachute hackle tie off you would have tied it off with the same knot that your whip finish tool makes and saved yourself a bit of time with no need to then use a whip finish tool! I have done experiments with this method and the knot created is absolutely the same knot!

There's no audio. I checked YT and system volume and both are not muted. Ads and other videos play with audio. Anybody else have this problem?

No problem here and based on the number of comments, others do not seem to have a problem with the audio.

Hi Al! Say I tried to do this weight the spool thing but the weight was too big. Can you tell me the diameter of the weights you use to put inside the spools? Thanks!

Hi RRR, You'll notice in the video the two weight sizes I have are 1/4 oz & 1/16 oz because the weights are different lengths. The longer ones need to be cut off. I had to take a spool of thread to the store with me to be sure the weights I was purchasing were not too big in diameter. At one time in the past years, I found a spool of very heavy lead type wire that was just the right diameter to fit in a spool easily. I've looked everywhere in recent years for another spool and have had no luck in finding another.
