It's hard to say :') I prefer Nice for the weather, the beach, the slower pace of life, the proximity to Spain/Italy etc - but Paris has more events and things to do, it's more diverse, and all the jobs are here
Do you have any advice for people looking for a short-term lease? I'm moving to Paris for 6 months but can't seem to find anyone willing to rent to me for less than a year...
honestly i wouldn't even mention that you're planning to stay only 6 months - legally they have to let you out of your lease as long as you give them accurate notice (1 month notice for a furnished apartment, 3 months noticed for an unfurnished apartment)
If you have the money than yes, I would recommend renting an Airbnb for 2-3 weeks just to give yourself enough time to search for an apartment without feeling pressured to choose the first one you find
I mean I agree with whatever you said? How do I apply for a visa without accommodation?? Because I am coming on vls-ts for 6 month internship and they require contact of accommodation for long stay visa application in India.
do u know anything about the website Morning Croissant? its a real estate rental website, but idk if its reliable, i have to put. my credit card info (bc its all done online) but yeah im not sure. any advice? !!!!!!URGENT!!!!!!
On average I'd say $150-160 depending on size of your apartment, location, etc. It's also higher in the winter due to having to run the heater often so if you have a bigger place it can easily get pretty expensive
So I'm currently in College and I wait tables. I really want to take my classes online and rent an apartment for three months overseas and just complete my classes overseas. I ideally would like to find a three month lease and just pay for the classes upfront. Does this sound insnae?
Not insane at all, it’s definitely doable! In that case though I’d probably search for a long-term Airbnb instead for the 3 months - most apartment landlords here will require you to have a visa/be a resident here to rent from them
This is an excellent video. I've been in the South of France for the last seven months and am still searching for an apartment.

Thanks for your video. Question: Do prefer living in Paris or in Nice, and why?
It's hard to say :') I prefer Nice for the weather, the beach, the slower pace of life, the proximity to Spain/Italy etc - but Paris has more events and things to do, it's more diverse, and all the jobs are here

So if we shouldn't look for an apartment since we're not in the city, what are ve gonna do if we came to the city and have nowhere to stay?
Airbnb or hotel for the first few weeks til you find something

When would you reveal your ID to potential landlords? Leboncoin advises you to upload your ID but isn't that sensitive information?
Would student housing allow pets? I have 3 cats

Typically they will give you the keys last after signing and paying the deposit
