I've seen some cool, hilarious, and downright horrifying Hunters that people have made. People have made Saitama, Geralt of Riveria, Harley Quinn, Skeletor, He-Man, Hisoka, Yang Xiao Long, and a really, REALLY concerning (if not impressive for effort) humanoid Ugandan Knuckles.

A few other tips; The magmacores drop materials when you break them, don't forget to pick them up. Also, the big core in his back drops multiple of them, so circle through that little spot, since they're hidden inside the floor. If you need Pleuras (which you will, a lot of), this first quest is the best to join. You won't get a lot of room to break his chest in the second fight, don't expect everyone to focus hitting it then. In the second fight, you can jump down to the ship that has two NPCs loading cannons. This is arguably the best place for damage, and not a lot of people know it's there. That's also where you'll find the -slightly used bad- dragonator. Don't forget that there's a wyvern that you can aim at with the slinger to travel back up. The head is the least hit area, since the window to get up there and break it when he's standing up is super small. I never got to it besides one fight, where I was intently going there at minute 1. o hai doggie Remember to hit the stalactites in the second fight, they do a lot of damage. *But you need to get to the second floor of his shell to reach them with your slinger!*
I managed to mount the head once during one of the repeat quests, when I was defending the barrier. It lowered its head and I managed to jump onto him, mind you I was stuck up there for a couple Minutes ;P waving and dancing for my team
You can also use the ballista just outside the camp area to hit three of them, the two right around where Nergigante shows up and even the giant stalagmite to Zorah's left

My personal scariest monster is still black Diablos. Not because of design but rather pure intimidation factor, even Nergigante isn't as unpleasant to think about fighting. (especially now since I've fought him so many times, but whatever.)
NCHProductions you could have them form a hand-like shape physically grab the hunters head and snap it in another direction than he is running, personifying the force of the camera jerk. Just like a subtle joke, not like a literal camera jerk. Just a thought. Hope I explained it clearly enough.
This. I just saw the monster in front of me and was about to attack it, then scoutflies jerk my camera to the other direction since it "found" the monsters tracks.
if only he was that nice...the only way i tamed Nergi was to shove a gunlance shield in his mouth and keep him from biting anything...especially me that made his damage output about as painful as a feather...even the divebomb while it would still hurt me cus i got no Guard skilsl to enhance shielding, would drain all my stamina and by then wouldnt do all that much damage, and everything else he does cant break guard unless you run out of stamina he becomes a fucking pushover

I started playing this game on my own until the elder recess, After that i started watching videos like this and its honestly the best feeling ever to see that theres such a community with so much relatability. Simply amazing
Great work! Oh and one more thing, in the old siege fights your base can be ripped through like paper most of the time, but the wooden barrier is soooooooo strong in the final siege it barely gives a shit. That life bar man, ain't going down more than a few pixels.
yes you can completely ignore nergigante and just keep mining (I did this once because i was lost lol). The game will protest, but you can ignore that too. Eventually he will get bored and fly off and you'll be sent back to the barrier to defend it. You can even ignore destroying the cores, or using the charged stalagmites, basically you can do absolutely nothing until the barrier defence if you wish. Though i assume that then it will have more hp left.
if you have problems with nergigante try using the lance with a guard+ (as much as possible) armour set, and use the power guard when he does big attacks, he won't one shot you not even with the superdive. Also upgrade your armour as much as possible.
I ranted on how poorly placed the cannons were till I joined a game in progress and this one guy MOVED it. MIND. BLOWN. I think that's when the game went from a 40/10 to a rank of 50/10.
+Somedude Watchintv The part drops from the cores are usually better than mining parts, as the mining geodes usually only contain Heat Scales for Zorah parts. If you can't to make Zorah's gear, then the cores are honestly better to destroy because they can give you rare materials (or at least a wider list). But also, if you don't care for Zorah's parts, then you don't have to destroy the cores.
Somedude Watchintv yeah you can ignore cores and nerg, I just tend to go round mining then mine the respawns till it kicks you off at the barrier, you get plenty of materials from mining and when the quest is over, you get a pretty decent amount of gems too.
Yeh, me neither. Even if you tried to lose I'd doubt you'd be able to. I played it just by myself the other day, all I did was just go around mining. Before I was transported to the second phase, I had only two of the huge volcano rocks smashed before I transported me to the second phase via windrake.. You';d wanna be totally inept to lose this battle .. Literally .. All I did was mine and I won.. Even the time limit would not run out by the time this battle is finished..
I dunno, it felt tense as hell for me. Running around everywhere, smacking the stalactites, breaking his magmacores, driving off Nergigante, and then blasting him with the cannons and Dragonator felt so flipping awesome.

I absolutely loved the Zorah sieges. They never expected the first barriers to hold, just to delay it. You feel like you’re actually just another soldier and everyone is doing their part instead of a single madman.

I loved that all the way through. Makes sense that you can roll with a cannon ball, since you got it covered so it DOESNT BREAK (wtf). Also you can setcannon balls down with the square button (PS4). And yeah, Nergigante sucked since it doesnt harrass anybody, they need to make it more aggressive and go after people while they mine and destroy magma cores (just a thought).
think basically there was no consequences if you just leave nerg like that. like if it did cause the quest to fail if nerg does shit on zorah then yeah, people would have to report on its back to fend nerg off to prevent quest failure.

Something to take notes of: If you hold off Nergi on the final siege and let Zorah spew out his fiery fireball onto his back where Nergi was, you can take the leftover materials from the fireball after Nergi left. But be mindful that Zorah would still spit his fireball at you.
Honestly guys this is a pure guide for you beginners of mh world Im happy that there is someone putting out so much effort to help a community and to make us laugh at the same time 😂. But honestly zora's fight is probably one of the easiest of the game you wont have to much problems cheesing through it 😉
Quick tip: In the special mission of " left quite an impression" when you are on the wooden barrier, you can actually hop on the head of the zorah magnaros the moment it headbutt the barrier, that way you can destroy the magma core that is on its nose which will save you the trouble of having to get to the top of it's head in time. Honestly, when I do Zorah quests, I don't even do anything other than fire the cannons. By the time I run over to each one, the hunter there will have already restocked the cannon. Also, great new feature is that your palico will help restock cannons and even fire ballistas if you bring it along.
Tip: For the final act, adjust the cannons to hit Zorah in the face. Do that enough times to get some extra part items. After that just hop down to the boat. There are several cannons with ball right next to the cannons and 2 NPC's to help with loading.
If you do the quest solo you don't ever need to load cannons just rotate back and forth along the wall and down the boat only grabbing the rope ballista ammo and using it. The NPCs load the cannons during your rotation and one cannon will usually be loaded by your palico (If he isn't currently shooting a ballista though), all you have to do is aim and fire them.
no worries, this game has a habit of making us feel retarded. Walk over to the side of the cannon and you'll see a new promt letting you move it a bit with O.
Ahh yes, the Zorah Magdaros siege. The only siege where calling reinforcements to beat this behemoth is identical to calling those 3 friends with different skill sets and points of view on how to help fix a wall. And then your landlord is still wondering where is your rent money/dragonator?

Well, in the frist encounter with it the boats come, but after the help signal. In the other quests you fight it alone. I have seen all angles and no boats.

Oh and one more thing, in the old siege fights your base can be ripped through like paper most of the time, but the wooden barrier is soooooooo strong in the final siege it barely gives a shit. That life bar man, ain't going down more than a few pixels.

yes you can completely ignore nergigante and just keep mining (I did this once because i was lost lol). The game will protest, but you can ignore that too. Eventually he will get bored and fly off and you'll be sent back to the barrier to defend it.
You can even ignore destroying the cores, or using the charged stalagmites, basically you can do absolutely nothing until the barrier defence if you wish. Though i assume that then it will have more hp left.

if you have problems with nergigante try using the lance with a guard+ (as much as possible) armour set, and use the power guard when he does big attacks, he won't one shot you not even with the superdive. Also upgrade your armour as much as possible.

The part drops from the cores are usually better than mining parts, as the mining geodes usually only contain Heat Scales for Zorah parts. If you can't to make Zorah's gear, then the cores are honestly better to destroy because they can give you rare materials (or at least a wider list). But also, if you don't care for Zorah's parts, then you don't have to destroy the cores.
Somedude Watchintv yeah you can ignore cores and nerg, I just tend to go round mining then mine the respawns till it kicks you off at the barrier, you get plenty of materials from mining and when the quest is over, you get a pretty decent amount of gems too.

Yeh, me neither. Even if you tried to lose I'd doubt you'd be able to. I played it just by myself the other day, all I did was just go around mining. Before I was transported to the second phase, I had only two of the huge volcano rocks smashed before I transported me to the second phase via windrake.. You';d wanna be totally inept to lose this battle .. Literally .. All I did was mine and I won.. Even the time limit would not run out by the time this battle is finished..
I dunno, it felt tense as hell for me.
Running around everywhere, smacking the stalactites, breaking his magmacores, driving off Nergigante, and then blasting him with the cannons and Dragonator felt so flipping awesome.
Damn, I'm tempted to draw an Anjanath getting "impaled" by a Bad Dragonator now.

Then during the tips section I was all "wait why does this music seem so incredibly familiar??" for a second and then when I realized what it was I was so shocked that I exclaimed loudly and startled my wife! :P.

I absolutely loved the Zorah sieges. They never expected the first barriers to hold, just to delay it. You feel like you’re actually just another soldier and everyone is doing their part instead of a single madman.

I loved that all the way through. Makes sense that you can roll with a cannon ball, since you got it covered so it DOESNT BREAK (wtf). Also you can setcannon balls down with the square button (PS4). And yeah, Nergigante sucked since it doesnt harrass anybody, they need to make it more aggressive and go after people while they mine and destroy magma cores (just a thought).
think basically there was no consequences if you just leave nerg like that. like if it did cause the quest to fail if nerg does shit on zorah then yeah, people would have to report on its back to fend nerg off to prevent quest failure.

I love how freiza could disintegrate zora within a few seconds.
Something to take notes of: If you hold off Nergi on the final siege and let Zorah spew out his fiery fireball onto his back where Nergi was, you can take the leftover materials from the fireball after Nergi left. But be mindful that Zorah would still spit his fireball at you.
The commander's voicing is the icing on the cake!
Honestly guys this is a pure guide for you beginners of mh world Im happy that there is someone putting out so much effort to help a community and to make us laugh at the same time 😂. But honestly zora's fight is probably one of the easiest of the game you wont have to much problems cheesing through it 😉
Quick tip: In the special mission of " left quite an impression" when you are on the wooden barrier, you can actually hop on the head of the zorah magnaros the moment it headbutt the barrier, that way you can destroy the magma core that is on its nose which will save you the trouble of having to get to the top of it's head in time.

Honestly, when I do Zorah quests, I don't even do anything other than fire the cannons. By the time I run over to each one, the hunter there will have already restocked the cannon. Also, great new feature is that your palico will help restock cannons and even fire ballistas if you bring it along.

I'll use ballistas if I have good shot at one of the weak points.

Why? Cuz a frog can albeit temporary stun/stagger/put to sleep more effectively than any hunter tool in the game to elder dragons.

Tip: For the final act, adjust the cannons to hit Zorah in the face. Do that enough times to get some extra part items. After that just hop down to the boat. There are several cannons with ball right next to the cannons and 2 NPC's to help with loading.

If you do the quest solo you don't ever need to load cannons just rotate back and forth along the wall and down the boat only grabbing the rope ballista ammo and using it.
The NPCs load the cannons during your rotation and one cannon will usually be loaded by your palico (If he isn't currently shooting a ballista though), all you have to do is aim and fire them.
no worries, this game has a habit of making us feel retarded. Walk over to the side of the cannon and you'll see a new promt letting you move it a bit with O.

The only siege where calling reinforcements to beat this behemoth is identical to calling those 3 friends with different skill sets and points of view on how to help fix a wall.
And then your landlord is still wondering where is your rent money/dragonator?
