    Afternoon good to see your you tube posts again and good to see you looking great
    As for your battery price woooo
    But when u see relying on it all the time then makes sense.
    Can't wait for the next video.
    Stay safe.

    If you want to get a Battery to battery charger you can get one from Renogy at the minute that can do 60 amps. They have a sale on at the moment and you can get 10% off using code CANLIFE. £135 altogether.

    They are expensive but as you said they will pay for themselves in the long run and when you are living full time in your van like yourself it's peace of mind and you can't put money on that.

    Nice one Joe, Your hands were not dirty in that clip, I wish my hands were that clean 🤣 I've got my lithium cells coming from china to build my own battery, £1100 for 560Ah. I'm thinking of getting to scotland for a maiden voyage, if all goes to plan, sounds like you'll be on your way down by then?

    • @Road__Viking
      @Road__Viking  Год назад +1

      yeah i did contemplate getting the heated type but they don't do a 200ah one yet unfortunately i think il see if il struggle with the cold weathers this winter im hoping il be alright

    Is that a LiFeP04 or Li ?
    The LifeP04 don't self ignite lije the Li can, much much safer 👍
    When i swapped to LiFeP04 what got me was how fast it charges not needing a 4hr absorption charge like lead acid needs, it was like I'd added more solar and a bigger BtoB 😁
    Great vid chap 👍 so refreshing to see a YTer not acting like an expert after 5 mins with the item 😎
    Keep it real buddy 👍😎👍

      hi buddy yeah it's lifep04 ( updated the name now as a few have asked haha. aww yeah I'd be a fool to say I know everything haha yeah massively impressed at how quickly it charges with just a 30 amp b2b hopefully this should be more then what I need 🙌 take it easy thanks for the support 🤟🤟

    If you charge it off the vehicle system you need to add a good dc to dc charger. Lipo should not be charged with an alternator directly

    Well I agree with you.. I agree you're an idiot.. but you're my idiot.. Great review & good to hear your thoughts.. I am thinking of changing.. but I would need at least 400ah if not 600ah for my needs.. ££££££ to spend.. Maybe on the next build...

    So your charging faster that your using it

    • @Road__Viking

    so say if u swapped 300ah of lead acid for 300ah of lithium, will there be a difference? I don't understand all this stuff but im kind of thinking I wouldn't bother upgrading unless I was getting more amp hours because I wouldn't notice any difference, seems like a waste of money, I don't have space for the 200ah lads so I'd have to basically swap 400ah for 400ah

    • @Road__Viking
      @Road__Viking  Год назад +1

      the difference between lead acid and lithium is huge id recommend looking up more of a in depth video of the differences i can already tell how much more usable power i have
