The fact that there's someone Named -> Mateo & they turn into a Demon... Hmmm... I think someone was a Fan on Nightmare Campus!!! and if you know... you know... Hehe!!!
Huh... yeah, I might get this. I like the aesthetic. Admittedly the fighting seems kinda less my speed. The damage seems very low. Still, I'd get it anyway, there's a lot happening here that I like.
Looks like there is a ton of potential, but the overall quality of the sound and effects is dogshit. Also the animations/character interactions need to flow a bit smoother

I think that would have been the way to go because while I want this game and think it looks really fun that price tag is to high for this.
The attacks do not have impact on them. There’s almost no hit stop on characters This doesn’t have any neutral. Appears as you can just do moves in neutral randomly with no plan.
I'm REALLY concerned. This game may get torn to shreds once it becomes available to the general public IF there isn't a serious time table to patch things before and even well after release (tho it may be too late by the latter). What's even more concerning is the negative precedent that this product can potentially stand to set for the genre and indie games in general (both categories which are currently already saturated as it is). Im not claiming to be some pro player or anything of the like in an effort to validate my critique of this particular product (not that its even necessary). There are very basic red flags on display in alot of this game's footage that's available where even the most casual fighting game player will immediately take notice. I've been an avid fan and enjoyer of the genre, and so I say this sincerely to everyone involved in the making and release of this product... best of luck and above all, PLEASE do right by the potential customers that this game may attract.

Looks as if someone simply redrew over an actual Adon character sprite. You know, now that you mention it, I feel like quite a number of key attack frames from a number of characters in this game were simply recycled and repurposed from existing assets of other 2D fighting games 🤔
Why does Oro's super leave him full screen after it hits?? And the startup on Mateo's install in HUGE he literally got killed for using it in this clip. these characters look wack as hell

I do enjoy a retro feel sometimes. Like in tactics ogre reborn, but the execution in this game is crap. I would definitely agree with you.

The characters don't blend with the background maybe that will be fix and why is the stage so wide needs to be reduced.
