- MASSIVE German Yellow Jacket colony (Vespula germanica-anthic) nest inside a clients mountain house. This client wanted the nest removed ASAP and hired me to have it extracted through the living room drywall.

Just wanted to mention the voice over whilst removing nests are 1 of my favorite parts of your videos. I would guess it takes a bit of extra time to edit etc but you always do a great job of explaining the how's and why's of what you're doing and the info about the wasps you're removing. It's great information for "novice" viewers and even "veteran" viewers like myself who have seen all of your videos to this point. Also thanks for the extra footage of the birds today!
Your comment is everything I always wanted to tell him. Thank you very much. I love watching this guy between wasps and birds. He’s the best.
Pls do more relocations and check on ur Wasp
Wait, i thought this channel is about chickens
Sweety is a lot more particular about her eating, while Doris just eats the whole thing! lol
Facts!
I'm always in awe of how you know exactly where to cut in someone's drywall and get it exactly right every time! It's so hot and dry here my hawk fledgling nagged me when I was out watering the plants and let me spray her for over ten minutes with the hose. She rewarded me with her chatter while she bathed in the hose spray!
Wow. I know the Germans are typically more docile than say the eastern or southern yellow jackets...but that has to be THE most docile nest I've ever seen you remove. You're all up in their business and even bumped the nest a few times and they barely seemed to care and just kept trucking on doing whatever they were doing (till they got sucked up anyway). Just when I think i've seen it all lol
The ones in our front porch are like this and it’s the only reason they’re allowed to remain. Maybe it’s an accidentally selected for trait
Looks more like north koreans to me
@@alexandersichwardt3652what, tries to look aggressive but won’t do shit?

Exactly
As soon as those yellow jackets started coming out of the cut in the dry wall, my heart rate shot up. And I learned that if I watch your videos with earbuds, I get the sounds of the yellow jackets flying past your head as if they're flying past mine. 😆
Thanks for another great video! ❤
Thank you!
Oh god
"What a bunch of pesky birdies" 😂 I freaking love it!! 💖 I love that little voice he does!!
Haha im an idiot 😅
@@HornetKingOfficial Not even close! Just an animal lover! 💕
Chickens are such *divas*, but so much fun.
Puddle bath!??!!
lmao and ohhhh what a gud sqwirlll
You are the one and only Hornet King. There may be imitators but there is only one Hornet King. Great to see you back and posting again!

Welcome back! This video was fantastic~!
Oh, happy birdies in their bath and fluffy Rhea the Rhea! German nests are one of my favorites to see. There are soooo many in the nest. Thanks for the video.
I wish you were near CT! I can't get anyone to come take care of a wasp nest for me. glad you're back posting!
Road trip! 😁
The Yellow Jacket Expert in CT does work just like the Hornet King. That’s how I found this channel.
So, you might not believe this, but I was watching this video and opened my blinds to see a wasp nest in my window. Just a small one, about 6 or 7 adults, assuming queens, had somehow already laid some larvae. All gone now :)
11:00 "Is that a bumble bee? ...NO DORRIS!!!"
I hear ya-last week I discovered a wasp nest in our backyard gas grill, of all places! I’m still trying to figure out how to remove that nest without getting stung myself, and since the grill is on the deck where we have potted flowers and a birdbath for our feathered friends, I _really_ want that nest gone yesterday!
@@dragondancer1814 in your gas grill? Can't you just fire it up? 😅
It is so injoyjing to see you back again. Greetings from Finland
We've gone from several years of drought to massive flooding in the Midwest. As always, a very interesting and cool video. Thank you for making them.
Holy moly they were almost through the wall! Nice work! Birds look gorgeous. Haven't seen your channel in a bit- How's squirrely squirl? Only one Hornet King!
I have subbed onyour channel for over 3 years now and this video had to be on my birthday❤
Thank you hornet king
I'm so glad you're back! The others don't hold a candle to your videos!
Thanks for a good half hour!
RUclips actually notified us!
I know..seeing one of his videos on time for a change!
Welcome back. Missed you and your bird buddies ❤❤❤❤
“Doris, when have I ever chased you?”
“I dunno”
Glad to see you back I’ve missed some new videos even though I enjoy watching the others also and don’t worry you’re the best. I don’t watch anybody else. Thank you for what you do.
your life is so cool!!! i live in downtown like a prison... love your birds and that your job feeds them! thats so cool
Aww, she just laid down in the puddle. There's something relaxing about watching birds take baths. That gave me a smile, thanks🙂
14:30 she must have thought that she was going to miss out on the larva 😂 🐓
They could have started chewing through the wall?! Absolute nightmare fuel! 😮 It’s very fascinating observing the process
Well done. I like the way you cut out the dry wall on the studs and joists so that it was easy to put back in place and tape up. Man the emu's and rhea have grown so much.
I didn't know there is so many species of wasps. I reinjured my back and I'm getting addicted to your videos. I love your squirrel and chickens and emus.
The German yellow jackets was that close to taking over the room in the house. WOW 😳
Great to see you're back Bret!
I bet the wasps think that black thing sucks.
😂😂
I was genuinely worried for you at the start from that look on your face... turns out it was just rain. Glad you're doing good.
oh man, it seems like the video narrator got fired! Times are tough with all the inflation.
😂
I’m always captivated by your video, invested in your animals getting a good meal! I find encouragement to have a more appreciative view point of these flying insects!
I enjoy hearing you interact with your clients, I'm autistic so I can be nervous and irritable with strangers in my house but if I needed your services I'd feel very comfortable.
Glad to see you back for the year! Thanks to your videos, I was able to eliminate some wasp nests when it was just the queen and some eggs before they became a problem around my kids. So much easier to catch them early.
New to this channel. I loved watching the wasp removal, but then I fell in love when you started talking to your birds in the cute voice. 😊
Welcome!
videos like this are why I want to move to Antarctica. 😂 But I have to admit, seeing the little guys vacuumed up is kind of cathartic. it is also surprising to see, despite the nest being deconstructed, how many of them just keep going about their business instead of swarming.
I don’t like watching those copycats. They don’t seem to know much about wasps. I enjoy learning about science and nature.
Thank you!!
Man I'm so stoked to see a new video from you bud .. it's been too long lol. Can't wait to see this one!!!!
👍🐿👍stay safe & happy filming.
HK is back! You had rain over there?! I’m sure it was annoying on the day you were filming but we sure do need it! We haven’t had a good “gully washer” in I don’t know how long. Great video as always! It also amazes me how you find the exact spot where the nests are. Have a great rest of your weekend!
That was an absolutely perfect cut into that nest! Always great to see you uploaded a new video man!
Im grateful i found your account. I like watching your videos when im tired or while Im cleaning the house.
It is so GOOD to see you back Bret and with your fine Birdie.....Thanks my friend.....Your friend Old F-4 II Stinky flying Shoe🇺🇸
Missed you
Welcome back, I go to my notifications first and you are one of my top 3 to watch. I know life has a way of rushing past at times. Best wishes , looking forward to more videos.
Enjoyed the video very much. You were right on target where the nest was when you cut out that square of Drywall... amazing.
omg wb missed u

I live in Harmony, PA about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh and I love your videos. I enjoy learning about the various species of hornets and I especially love to see all your birdies and squirrels. Thanks for sharing your videos with us all.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
Your opening made me laugh and like. 😂😂😂 been there brother. Love your content
Haha! Thanks!
Absolutely adore your channel. You are number one. I promise not to watch any others.
Welcome back! So good to see you.
Thought to comment, I had seen one your shorts earlier sucking up a ground nest, after I found a large gathering of gnats in my kitchen it gave me the idea to suck them up with the vacuum cleaner, which worked wonders
Your videos always make me happy, please keep doing what you do so great.
god, this is anxiety inducing. thank you for taking care of everyone.
Love your birds! 💙💙💙💙
I love your feathery friends ❤ Great work, thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness!!! I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve!! Miss you!!
Cannot wait for more content! Missed my hornet fix.
I had no clue you could have Emus in PA!
Great video. Always enjoy the asmr element
ABSOLUTELY INSANE!
Wow - I've never seen comb that far apart from each layer.
That nest was about to explode in population! So many full cells
Another great video .. one question . How come u dont patch the drywall ? Woulda been a easy fix .
I recently found 2 wasps, sort of a white color in my house, do you think that there could be a nest in the house, or did they just get in from outside? Thanks!
These guys watched your videos for sure they knew putting up a fight wouldn't work.
How are the squirrels doing
WOW this is the most amazing video I have seen in a long time !!!! you did a great job !
So what happens to the yellow jackets in the house?
Tnx for another awsome video, and welcome back🙂👍
HK - Doris, when have I ever chased you?
Doris - there's always a first time...
I love the one that was chilling on the vacuum at the beginning😂💀
You have an incredible life man. Seems like you really love it.
I love you videos! So glad you're back!
It’s always a good evening when I hear an Oooh RheaTheReea ❤🐦
A fellow PA resident here. I'd love to bring the family to come see the birdies and squirrel. Do you have visitors ever? 👍👍
I have a question. Have you ever had a client say she wanted a bees nest killed. If so, how did you respond to help educate them?
The emus *love* being in water
Are your emus lovable and let you pat them? do they give hugs?
Of course! They're sweethearts!
Do you make me laugh the way you talk to your birds you are so funny and you’re so professional. I enjoy watching you. I’m from South Philadelphia. I’m assuming you’re somewhere in Pennsylvania upstate stay safe.
nice video! but what happens to the wasps after beeing sucked in the vacume cleaner?
Wow! I've never seen emus react to water that way! They know what they like! A meal and a bath!! 😅✌🏼😎
Thanks to watching your video on hornets in the ceiling, I was able to remove a rather large European hornet nest. I seen them going in and out from a tiny gap on the roof. I inspected by attic and found no nests in the rafters. A stain formed on the ceiling and I thought it was a leaky roof. After watching your video, I realized it was a hornet nest. The hole was sealed on the roof and fogged the attic two days ago. I opened the ceiling today and found a 1ft x 1ft nest. I wish I could post the pictures.
I think Doris is my favorite birgie you have! Yes, I said birgie! I love the voice you use with them & use to comunicate with them. I do the same & yes, it is far more understood than the common human voice. I cant explain it iether but it works.
Please get a go pro. Years ago you complained about not having a solution for the camera, i personally find it frustrating watching you work with one hand..
😂😂😂😂 facts
Hornet King, are you seeing more nests/larger nests than usual this year? We’re seeing this in NW PA and I’m wondering if it’s the heat wave we had in early June
Great video
awwww your emus are beautiful and your chickens and roosters as wellllll
I've wondered a few times before, when you're doing a removal of a nest inside a house like this one, is there ever any activity on the outside of the home where the wasp use to come in?
Yup, just like in the beginning of this video.
Glad to see everybody at your place is doing well. Those two big birds you have are quite interesting. I look forward to watching this season of problematic, bees, or wasps.
just when i think i wanna live in the mountains one day….
Doris can teach Karen (of useless farm I think her channel is called) a thing or two about manners and not trying to kill your host ha ha😂❤
Really great video! Welcome back!
addicted to these vids man... keep them up!!
welcome back. great video
