- Nella Fantasia or “In My Fantasy” was originally an instrumental piece written by composer Ennio Morricone for the movie “The Mission”. After many requests by soprano Sarah Brightman, Morricone finally allowed the piece to be turned into a song with lyrics by Chiara Ferraù which debuted on Sarah Brightman’s 1998 Album “Eden”. It has since been covered by many artists and remains a favourite classical crossover song. We hope you enjoy our version here.

Adrian and Emma-Jean, I have been offline for the last 6 days, and to return to find such a treasure as this waiting was amazing. Your duet was glorious, and Adrian, the vocals of the song suit you so well that this was one of the best I have heard you sing, but Emma-Jean, you were sublime in both singing and performance, and as much as I love the duet and know that this song wouldn't reach the same heights without your father's input, like so many of your songs, I will be drawn to watch you sing this one over and over again.
You shape this song and others that require a trained voice in a way that is totally unique Emma-Jean, and it is a total wonder for me to watch and listen to the magical flow of sounds that you create. For one so young to have grasped this method of singing is astounding, and I can only reflect on the concept of your voice being that of an old soul who has understood music in this way for generations past. Of course it is you singing Emma-Jean, but the only explanation I can find for how you sing is that you are and have been , and of course, will be again and again, so much more than it seems possible for you to be in such a few short years on this planet.

The moment I fell in love with this song was when Jackie Evancho sang it at the age of 11, with David Foster in a PBS special. I assume both of you know what the words mean in English. It is such a beautiful song it always brings tears to my eyes whenever I hear it. Both of you did a fantastic job on it. (I know here we go), I was super impressed with Emma-Jean. The way she hit those high notes and sustained them was very impressive, and that is what reminded me of Jackie Evancho singing that song. So once again, I am sending out a sort of sideways compliment. I think it is safe to say, Emma-Jean has been practicing her breathing technique. You cannot hit that note and sustain it with power unless you take a deep breath before singing it. Good job both of you. Loved it and yes, it brought tears to my eyes.

@@AdrianEmmaJeanMusic LOL Yes it has paid off. Adrain is less pitchy and Emma-Jean seems far more comfortable in the higher notes and her breathing is spot on. Yes. I watched the studio video where Adrian you were criticized for being pitchy. Hence the "LOL" at the beginning of this response.
