@@MyCuriousMind It very much does, but the reason they disable it might be because they have issues with the ratchet mechanism (rare) or customers get scared from it, I know a guy who ran a thrustpro in a rich area and because cars like Bentleys and Mercedes would go thru they didn’t want it touching their car, so they disabled the drop and gave them more dryer time instead.

Interestingly enough, that whistle was because the impellers were reversed. If you look closely they do not follow the curve of the housing.

That’s not true. Most of them either had follower drop disabled or dropped later off camera.

Easier said than done. Those are VERY rare. Plus the term “Desert Dry” is a little vague because multiple dryers claim that name.
