I'm really happy to be able to see this kind of stuff here when I got the game just over a week ago. I just wish there were more videos that aren't just "build" or "book". I love learning what I can do better, but it seems like very few, if any, people cover this game still.
yeah, just hit 450 hours between only two characters at max level (bardin and sienna) and I'm AMAZED that I still find myself tweaking properties and mixing in new swing combos and such on a regular basis. There really is no other game like Vermintide.
Love your videos, j_sat. The coaching series you did is an absolute goldmine, I don't think we're anywhere near being maxed out on seeing more of these, if you were ever open to shooting more of them.
There’s four levels of learning something: Unconcious incompetence, concious incompetence, concious competence, unconcious competence. J sat is good enough to where he can basically unconciously do the correct things and still explain what he’s doing. You are probably conciously competent, you have to focus more on playing well

That's because it still is. It's just different. Meta slaves don't like change. They will stick to their one broken build and whine the game's too easy. Now that the game is more difficult and requires fresh approach it's an inconceivable thought for them to adapt.
@@lockekappa500 What I don't like about beastmen is that some of them have a stupidly quick, almost untelegraphed stab attack with as long range as halber or elven spear. If you're not constantly blocking against a beastmen horde sometimes you get instakilled by a stab.
LockeKappa the fact there there is only 2 specials means that patrols and hordes of them are super boring and one dimensional. The banner guys are usually pretty easy but there is sometimes when you are in a choke point and a flag guy will come up right behind you (silently I should add) and you’re just fucked. They are so beefy and big and tanky especially with the banner that it seems almost impossible to fight through them and it just seems really unfair. Also what the guy above me said. They are very beefy and big and yet at the same time will have super long range attacks that will reach over each other in a horde, which just feels kind of unfair.
regarding the true shot volley from the waystalker ive shot it in front of me at an assassin just a bit out of my range to kill it and it completely ignored it for some reason sometimes when i use it to kill some distant special that is tagged it wont even go for it and i believe the same might be true for siennas ultimate, it just feels that both ultis dont prioritize specials at all, which i thought is/was the case.
Ah! Yes, right found convocation about an hour and 10 mins in to one of them, multiple streams, had only gone through one. Yeah, looks like hell, glad to know dropping off the ritual table thingy is the way to go, felt like when I did that I was wasting time a lot but seems like the progress bar doesn't care much. Fort looks about how I last managed it too. Still don't really remember it beyond a huge blur of skaven monks and stormvermin though. Thanks again J.

I have another question! In Bracksenbrucke is doing two lots of the cannon double waving yourself? I noticed a significant amount more rats attacking in the event.
It just looks so painfully stupid to be attacking constantly for a speed boost, like I get it but it's just silly. Ruins the atmosphere somewhat. At any rate picked up a few tips here and there, thanks!
Whenever I see someone doing it in game, I stop what I'm doing and start swing whatever weapon I have as I move around until they realize how dumb they look lmao. If I'm playing with friends they do it too. Just makes me cringe xD
Forgive my ignorance, what meds do you have enabled. I've not seen the details of your teammates displayed like that, plus the abilities displaying in the centre of the screen.

I hate that you can't do a fast switch from medkits back to your melee weapon. It's gotten me in trouble a few times. I believe it was a quick switch in L4D.
So the choice of left or right wall depends on where the enemys are?I mean sometimes horde from left wall sometimes right,does the horde only come from one side? So that if we see horde coming from right side outside the wall climbing in ,then we can know that we should probably play left wall this time. Cause i felt like the main reason of dying in cata is that you got sandwitched easily and cant get out easily like in legend.
27:53 it didnt kill the gasrat cous you lost track of it.. you had it tracked ( red ) but lost him befor releasing ult.. so it targets the nearer mob nothing to send to the devs, normal interaction exactly the same at 37:20 you are losing track of em... watch your crosshair

MrCorvusC the new talent changes are great but beastmen were terribly implemented.

I Think cata on v2 is a bit hader but thats just my opinion. :)
Early v1 cata was really really hard but we were also just learning the game. V2 cata us crazy hard but the average player is better. Probably a wash?

That's why they need to just add a forwards dash/dodge too.. it'll make the game faster paced with out losing atmosphere.

Considering that trueshot volley didn't land on the gas rat, I take it this problem hasn't been fixed because I've been having the same problem.
