Okay I tryed for over 20 minutes and this is one of the hardest things to bed with your hand. I love getting out my wire cutters in my wire tools and I still not able to get it.
Hi Esther: The paperclips are made of steel wire and are very hard. You can try to make the rings with 20 gauge copper wire instead. Good luck.

I have a question. At about 3.13 min into the vid, you said that we needed a tool to make that certain ring. However in the vid intro pic it says that you have use no tools. So how come we're supposed to use a tool?
I think the 'tool' you are referring to is the spring you make yourself with the paperclip.
The first part not everyone can do- and well. I’m one of the ones that can’t (sacrificing my nails to do this)

Most paperclips are very hard because they are made of stainless steel. You can use 20 gauge wire if you have some. Good luck.

It’s just mot working properly for me I’m so sad and my hands hurt even tho I have a tool 😭… I was so exited since I can’t rlly afford buying rings-
The paperclips are really hard. Maybe you can try with a softer wire. Good luck.

Paperclips are super hard to bend because they are made of steel. You may want to try using 20 gauge copper wire instead. Good luck.
