- 👋 In todays review we check out the 2022 BMW X6 M50i and what an SUV this is!! It is stylish on the exterior, being mostly blacked out with the staggered wheels gives it such a great look! The steep rake to the rear glass not only provides a great coupe like design, but also doesn't hinder interior spacer or rear seat passenger head room! The rest of the interior is spot on with premium feeling materials like carbon fiber, brushed aluminum and heated leather seats! It has a ton of standard safety features and a lot of information in general that can be easily controlled in the center infotainment system! The driving aspect to this car is really where it shines! BMW is known for making really good handling sportscars, and they do a great job of bringing over that sportiness to the SUV lineup! The 2022 BMW X6 M50i drives just like a sportscar, the adaptive suspension provides a comfortable ride when needed and yet can take a turn and present almost no body roll! For a heavy SUV like this, it's unbelievable how well it handles turns and the acceleration that it has! This would be a great daily driver for sure!! The 2022 BMW X6 M50i is the best blend between wanting a sportscar, but also needing the practicality of an SUV along with even being able to tow which is great to see from this sporty coupe like SUV!

What amaze me about this car is the style the clean look the hp and that it’s faster then urus lol
I don't think the M50 is faster then the Urus. The X6 M Competition can be up there with it. But the Urus is crazy fast

Excellent review, very informative and well presented. I have the arctic gray metallic with red interior, identical to the one in the BMW Zentrum building at Spartanburg SC. You can book a factory tour and see how all these X vehicles are put together. If you get the opportunity I highly recommend the plant tour!

The tour is now back in full; in fact I just visited last week. You need to book in advance, and you have a choice of a 1 hour tour of the assembly floor, or the full 2 hour tour including the robotic welding shop. It’s really great to see world class manufacturing right here in the USA.

(question) Does the m50i have the same exterior as the 40i? Its really hard to tell on the website.
It's a bit more sporty looking with the bumpers and wheel options. If there is an M Sport package on the 40i, that would look similar to this
In Europe and South Africa, we had the quad turbo inline six diesel M50d.
394 horsepower and 561 pound feet of torque.
Interesting amount of power for a quad turbo vehicle! You think it would be more!

The performance in the M50d can never keep on track with its petrol powered sibling the M50i.

The diesel is 3 litre 6 cylinder engine. So This M50i is superior to the M50d.

The M50i is more superior in terms of performance, but the M50d is more superior in terms of gas mileage.

So I currently have a 2017 530i w/ luxury package. 36,587 miles on it. Would you recommend trading in for one of this?! I love the SUV’s!

Good review thanks. One small correction. You state that there is just one level above this x6m50i which is the competition model about 17 hp or so.more...which is not true. There is a X6M in between which roughly is a 100 hp or so.more than m50i and then on top of the X6M lies the X6m competition which is about 20 hp or so more than x6m.thanks again

Recently picked up my 22 x6 m50i and I'm disappointed with the exhaust, no cracks and pops at all for a v8 engine
Look, you have to modify that beast, I have it and modified it with the F96 exhaust and is fucking insane!
Would you get this in this color with cream seats or metallic white with red seats? I’m so torn. The dealership that I am communicating with has this color, it does not have the following:
Heads up display
Parking Assistance
Remote engine start
3D camera system
Gesture controls
The white has all of of what I mentioned. I don’t love the red seats, but can learn to I guess.
The black on black with the cream seats makes me so happy, just don’t know if forgoing on the options makes sense.
Personally I'd go white with the read seats! But black with cream or tan is a good option that's not as flashy! You really need to like the red interior to stay with it so take some time to see if you want that or not! Can't go wrong with the black though! Really the only option there that is necessary is the 3D camera system, but a standard back up camera is all you need. The other options are not really needed especially if you are saving a good bit!
Build your own online. Built in SC, you can go pick it up from there as an option. Don’t settle!
I love this vehicle and is planning on getting it, however I'm being told not to because BMWs tend to have many issues and have to be in the shop often. But they are referring to the sedans, is it the same for their SUVs?
Honestly BMW after 2020 is pretty solid. I'd buy one all day. They are in the top with reliability these days

I bought my 2021 330i and upgraded the maintenance warranty 75k/ 5 years for that very reason

I just got a 2023 x6 M50i and it says one of the features is the M sport exhaust system with the M sound control button. Any idea on where I can find that?
When you use the different drive modes, it will change the exhaust if that’s what you mean. As far as other controls for that if there are, check in the car icon under settings or another section under the car icon to see!

@@peterharris1751 Not everything is going electric, it’s a cool concept, but won’t catch on. Just not as practical and most bmw owners don’t want electric.

I don't believe that's available on this BMW model, but it is something I have seen!

10 or 15 more hp in thee X6M? Lets review: 617-525= 92. Yep, 10 or 15 difference, I stand corrected.
Some of the M models only have that slight difference, mistakes happen and this was one. I never said that was accurate, I was estimating real quick.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed they used to when I owned an x5 and I feel they didn’t recline enough …. Hyundai n Nissan mid size suv’s rear seats recline to almost no limit.
