    I had a sample shirt get shipped to me once from Digital HeatFX and the design of a bird on it cracked and peeled about 3 washes in. Are these transfers better now? How many washes do you think they are good for and can they handle normal washes? People don't special wash even their most expensive clothes.

    • @HaiTech
      @HaiTech  Год назад +1

      did they send you a DTF sample or Laser transfer sample? We have shirts that were printed back in Feb or Mar of 2023 that have absolutely no damage to them. no cracks, no tears, no rips. They've been through the washer more times than i can remember. I would say over 10+ times easily.

    Hi. I`m thinking about starting up with printing on cloths +++ It looks like you are happy with the L1800 printer, do you know if thats the best model they have? And the heat presser, would you have gone for somthing else if "you" had the budget for it? Possibly which one?
    Love your videos, easy to understand.

    • @HaiTech
      @HaiTech  8 месяцев назад

      the best model they have is called the DTF Pro. it just prints faster because of the dual print head. image quality is probably very similar. When I use to print shirts professionally we used a heat press called Fusion IQ by STAHLS. The L1800 is probably the best option for single print head DTF printer.

    • @HaiTech
      @HaiTech  Год назад +1

      Procolored goes to trade shows. Some other brands I’ve seen use lower quality epson print heads and charge twice as much for their DTF printer alone. But you’re right there are plenty of generic brands, and some bigger brand name dtf printers out there. Procolored is not a perfect brand either. I would weigh your options according to price, quality, customer service and maintenance. Not in any particular order. Watch This Before You Buy a Procolored DTF Printer

      the print quality is amazing. We have shirts that have gone through 10+ washes easily and they still look just as great as it did fresh out of the printer. I'll have a video on wash test soon. The print feels really good on a shirt. it's not a clump of ink like screen printing. it's a thin later of ink. no cracks, no peeling at all.

      150 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? 150 Fahrenheit is way too low. The oven at 110-120 Celsius is good. As for the time I would play around with the time. It’s usually 2-3 minutes for the oven. Also depends on the oven lol. As for the heat press it needs to be 320 Fahrenheit on medium pressure. Peel COLD. Procolored will tell you all sorts of random numbers. You’ll have to play around with the miners to get it perfect but those are what I use and they come out great.

      A3 can print up to almost 13 inches. now if you buy a roll of film it's about 320 ft+ you could turn your design sideways and now instead of 13 inches wide you could print 320ft wide and 13 inches length.

    How do you gauge “medium” pressure?

    • @HaiTech
      @HaiTech  4 месяца назад +1

      some heat press have numbers that will let you know. if yours does not you can typically feel for it. when you press it and it takes some effort to close and a bit of strength/effort it's probably medium and good. if it takes no effort at all and you can probably do it one hand, it's probably too light. try different settings without the shirt. try it on light setting first. then try it on the heaviest setting (usually by turning a knob). now you'll get a feel for heavy and light. just do something in between that and you'll get something close to medium. hope that helps.

    • @HaiTech

      you can resize the image and strategically place them so that there's not a lot of "empty" or "blank" areas on the film. you could also watch to see where the printer starts printing on the film and adjust the film accordingly. there are buttons on the side of the printer that will move the film forward and backward.

      at the top right where you see the icon of 3 horizontal lines. it looks like a "menu" icon. if you click it you can switch from cm to Inches if it makes it easier. are you importing PNG files? once your in the RIP software and import an image you can see the "ruler" guide going across the top and another one going down the left side. also once an image is imported, at the bottom left you will see a rectangular screen that shows up which allows for you to change the Width/Height of the image. measure your film across and keep in mind that when you import an image into the RIP software that the design should not be wider than the film. example: your film is 11.7 inches across. when you import an image into the PRO RIP, just remember to keep the design under 11.7 in width! this video may help too: ruclips.net/video/EEr3fYFIgnU/видео.html
