Even though it says not to touch the reins, it's understandable that you might get bitten if you do, and it's understandable that you might get yelled at not to touch them.
I honestly think there needs to be more rules, laws and boundaries surrounding the guards and their areas. I think there should be more restricted access to areas so the tourists don't interrupt or impede the guard's duties. And for goodness sake there should be an absolute rule of not touching the horses at all. I think letting tourists get so close is what makes people view the guards as more of an attraction there purely for tourist entertainment and not being viewed as the military that they are in deserving of respect and space. You can take plenty of photos and videos from 15ft away, there's no need to stand right next to them. Also, tourists seem to view these horses as if they're your typical old fair school horses, they're military horses, they're not trained to be quiet, still and sumbissive to all, but the opposite, they will bite and kick and knock you down without hesitation. These horses aren't taught to have manners to crowds, they're taught to barge through crowds of people without an ounce of care, just like police horses
Poor horses. Why tourists want to grab the reins of the horses instead of leaving them and the officers to guard the palace ? The tourists can make photos standing near horses. Not to touch them. The horses are also the guards. Nobody can touch any guard. Respect the guards and their difficult and important job.
I wish the royal guard would implement a policy that if someone tries to take control of the horse by grabbing the rains the guards are allowed to strike the person with the flat of their sword or the pommel.
Why is that guard letting so many people touch the reins? Unreal! On the other side of things, I am loving this horse. He's so curious and looks like he's wanting to make friends with everyone. Either that, or he's looking for something to eat, LOL.
I think its ok to touch the horse and shit but not the actual reins themselves. They control the horse and the horse will think the rider is giving instructions when the reins are moved or pulled
@@kevindagod I see your point and would agree if this was a petting zoo, or even a stable. These horses are at work, though, and they have people going way beyond where they should go when it comes to both guards and horses. There should be NO touching at all, of either guard or horse.
@TisEyerish1 they should put up a sign tbh. I don't see one. Also could put something around the guard so people don't feel so comfortable approaching.
@@kevindagod Those signs do no good at all. You can see how well the "Do not touch the reins" signs are working; if anything, people are taking them as a challenge. The only way to stop it is to put a fence . The horses can leave by backing out, rather than walking forward. No pomp and circumstance there, but much more efficient and better for both horse and rider.
The girl in the white jacket probably saw the other ladies and even the fella hold the rein and the guard didn't see. That could be the reason she was even more confused.
A simple notice or diagram “ Do not touch the horse or guard” would solve this ongoing problem.Every time a guard shouts the horse is yelled at and has his mouth yanked at.Why are the guards and their mounts made to put up with this or is trying to get the reins knowing you will be shouted at now part of the “attraction”?
MY BLOOD IS BOILING ........Leave the horse alone, he is working for the King, actually those people who touch the horse should spend a month in prison then they will learn what respect is... King's Guard respect what you do, thumbs up
Beautiful to see, but I think tourists must not be allowed so close to the guards and the horses, I can just imagine how irritating they must get by this disrespect!
Something has to be done about the tourists touching reins etc., before there is a serious incident. Disgusting the way they treat the guards and the horses. These men are doing their jobs. Sickening.

Even though it says not to touch the reins, it's understandable that you might get bitten if you do, and it's understandable that you might get yelled at not to touch them.

How disrespectful. If someone grabbed my broom while I was working, I'd be angry too.
Wenn ich soviel Dummheit und Ignoranz jedesmal sehe, steigt imner der Blutdruck vor Wut, weil ich den Wachen am liebsten helfen würde🇩🇪☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️💔
They shouldn't be allowed to stand so near the horse. Or touch it! It is a soldier also. Too easy for someone to feed it something harmful.
Don't think the guards are allowed to accept treats from tourists
Esta gente se cree que esta en Disney
No rrspet for the guards or the Queen
I think there should be a big sign telling people to not touch the horses. They are on duty not standing here for fun to be petted
2:04 - GET OFF THE REINS! GET OFF!
Poor horses. Why tourists want to grab the reins of the horses instead of leaving them and the officers to guard the palace ? The tourists can make photos standing near horses. Not to touch them. The horses are also the guards. Nobody can touch any guard. Respect the guards and their difficult and important job.
Tourist: Stupid is as stupid does!
I love 💗 when the household Calvary mounted regiment say "off the reins"or "get your hands off the reins"or "Do not touch the reins"
The poor Guard and horses have to put up with charging idiots pokeing the poor horse and being disrespectful. Good job sir.
I wish the royal guard would implement a policy that if someone tries to take control of the horse by grabbing the rains the guards are allowed to strike the person with the flat of their sword or the pommel.
What in the world is wrong with her, I know she no he is speaking to her as loud as he said it.
They have a sword, I don’t know why they’re not allowed to use it.
Two prior tourist were holding on to the reins and the guard did not pay attention. Why do these people feel that they need to be on top of horse?
Why doesn't that guard wake up, he let two people grab the rains, he didn't realize it!!
The girl in the white jacket probably saw the other ladies and even the fella hold the rein and the guard didn't see. That could be the reason she was even more confused.
She was doing that deliberately. Should have been arrested.5,6,7 times is ridiculous.
They’re too ugly to touch these beautiful horses! They should be arrested….
How can they not have any respect??? I think the guard was absolutely right!! To tell her off ! They should arrest her!
Some tourists should be blacklisted if they keep doing this.
d girl in white coat is funny. she is a tourist n obviously doesn't speak english n there is no sign about the reins rule.......
Nobody learned, don’t stay, in anybody’s aura, and don’t touch what’s not yours,… this is sooooo annoying🤬
King's Guard respect what you do, thumbs up
The lady has hearing impairment
Beautiful to see, but I think tourists must not be allowed so close to the guards and the horses, I can just imagine how irritating they must get by this disrespect!
Those tourists are very bold of them selves, that guard has a job to to, and horse needs left alone to how would they like patted all day long
Something has to be done about the tourists touching reins etc., before there is a serious incident. Disgusting the way they treat the guards and the horses. These men are doing their jobs. Sickening.
Why dont they have a guard at every station to make sure no one disrespectful to the guards
