I love Guler and the role that's given to him right now. Let's believe in the process. I see what Carlo is trying to do here; basically, Carlo doesn't want to put any pressure on Guler, rather let him play with freedom without worry about the titles and stuff. I hope he stays next season and Carlo will give him minutes in competitive matches a bit and have a taste of how it feels. Also, i kind of like the idea of having Florian Wirtz in the squad. I know I'm being a little bit greedy here. But, can't deny how exciting talent he is. Let's see how it goes. Perez will make the right decisions for the club and for Madridistas.
The minutes we gave Modric this season, coming from the bench, will be Guler's next season (mostly)... and as he grows, he'll get more minutes. He's a unique profile in midfield, with a lot of characteristics of Modric...
It's going to be congested if Mbappe comes in the summer but I really would love to see Arda Guler succeed at the Bernabeu

I really see Arda more like Ozil and Modric than like Oddegard or Kubo. As you say he is press resistant but in a very slippery very audacious kind of way and I want more of that. Maybe the RW isnt the best place for him long term but it will help him build some chemistry with important players and give him that confidence to run in front and make critical decisions. I want him to be audacious like Ozil was in the box. He has that same touch sometimes he just needs more physicality, confidence, and minutes

@@tasaliba1329 Wirtz isnt a Kroos replacement at all. He is more of a Jude replacement. We already have Jude and Arda that play that position. If we really are going to look for a Kroos replacement probably the closest is Odegaard.

Some good players are going to be sold if we bring Mbappe as the squad we have now is simply too good to accept sitting on the bench even if it's the bench of Real Madrid.

I don’t see this happening at all. First Florentino has repeatedly said that Rodrygo is untouchable as well as he considers him the best in the world. Second Carlo loves Rodrygo he knows how good of a asset rodrygo can be especially in today world where there are multiple games such as those international breaks. Third Rodrygo himself loves the club he knows Real Madrid is the greatest club and there’s going to be competition so he understands thus it will make him work harder and be a better player. Tchouameni is definitely not getting sold as he’s one of our only cdm who is considered one of the best in the world there are literally no point in selling him at all as he is a great cdm who can easily become a kroos replacement in long term or he can be a cb as he’s been great. No point in selling as Real Madrid have the funds to back it up.
