Oh, so close to finish, that was unlucky... But really I like how you approached the race: Driving safely staying in your limits, if others are faster let them pass and no crazy pushing to get a position back. If everyone would drive like this, at least a little, online races would be a lot more fun. Too many times, you get wrecked on first turns by someone braking far too late (or not at all), as was seen in this race too in turn 1. Also it is not a bad strategy to drive "saftey first", as many drivers will pass, but many of them, at some point in the race, will go off track and you get the position back easily. As seen here also a few times. : )
Yeah, it was litereally my first RaceRoom online race, didn't want to be 'that guy' :) but it's a good experience, and I'm slightly better now after few more races :D
So close, lol. That's happened to me before. Other than the fuel issue, I'd say that was a pretty good first experience. Was a pretty clean race. Good driving. There are a lot of fast drivers on RR but I've had some real crashfests. Have you tried the webhud? See you on track!
didn't know about webhud, thanks, I use mods with rev leds and displays, but the radar would be nice as I only use one 16:9 screen so can't see the mirrors, cheers!
nice work Peter, im just getting into sim racing and building my own wheel with nextion 4.3" display built in to go on my TM TX hub. if you still racing id like to join you when im at a decent level
Yeah I know its a bit of cheating, but I'm running a single screen which is quite far so inside the cockpit I struggled with visibility, also don't need to see the dashboard cause I have it on the displays attached to my wheel:)
